We were almost turned off by people's posts stating that there was barely elbow room and the workers didn't speak English, and what a mistake that would have been. It's crowded but everyone was so nice and you just have to work your way to the counter. There were plenty of people that spoke English and helped us with the menu. The cava was cheap, the food was amazing, and the friendly party atmosphere was perfect. I was so glad we went and would send anyone I know here!

We loved this place, and if you don't mind crowds and the fact that they don't speak a lick of English... you can't do much better for the price than Can Paixano! This place reminds me of mix between a dive bar (serving great inexpensive bottles of Cava - before 5pm)... and a classic diner/taqueria. The food here is pretty good for the price, and gets even better the more you drink... so come early, gently squeeze your way up to the counter, and stay a while... you'll be happy you did! And don't forget to take a nice walk on the beach when you're done.

If you are not interested in loud and crowded, I suggest another location. If a bit of bar cuddling and spilled cava is an acceptable part of your night, do it. Now. Tonight. Today. Bottles until 5pm, glasses are around 1.5 Euros. We tried the Brut...but ended up loving the Rosata with the pepper tapas. People are friendly and the atmosphere is hard to beat.

Cheap, tasty, busy :) You get this feeling of experiencinh the most typical things for this region. Great wine, food, so much fun to choose and order when everything is only in spanish. Highly recommended

Standing bar, usually crowded but if you wanna feel a typical Barcelona experience, you should try it out.

Everything is cheap, you can get a bottle of cava for 3€. You'll be surprised at first but after a few minutes, you'll get in the mood. Good place not so far from the beach.
