“Good Food : Indifferent Service”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

Perhaps we hit it on a bad day. The tapas was very good though the service can best be described as indifferent. Also the ambiance is a bit too bright for my taste, but it filled up before we finished our meal, and the place started to buzz. Not a bad place for decent quick food.

“Great food & atmosphere”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

This was our first tapas in Barcelona and it lived up to all expectations. Nothing too fancy just fresh, quality ingredients and reasonably priced. Staff were effiecient without being too pushy. The house wine was nice too. Overall a very enjoyable night.

“Good food good service”
Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

I went to this restaurant with a friend by checking on tripadvisor. The staff is really kind and dishes are well cooked and prepared. Though it is really crowded and it took us 30 mins to sit down it was surely worth it (We had dinner at midnight!!!!!).

“Busy and for good reason”
Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

Great tapas restaurant. I ate here 5 times in four days the food was fresh and tasty. It was a busy little hub with all kinds of people coming and going. The kitchen pumps out your food pretty quick and the lemon pie is a must!

“Great tapas restaurant”
Reviewed December 30, 2012

Definitely the best tapas restaurant in Barcelona. Forget about the greasy stuff you've had so often: here it's tapa revisited. Everything is tasty, subtle and light. Even the patatas bravas (you know, those mushy, greasy chunks of potato drowning in liquid garlic) taste fresh and delicate. The calamari fritti (you know, those rubber rings in fat dough) are the best I've ever had: the crust was so thin that it appeared more like a kind of seasoning of the perfectly tender calamari rings. Absolutely delicious. And try the ham croquettes: also the best ones I've ever tasted. Also excellent: the tuna tataki with guacamole, the cod in mousseline, the grilled artichoke hearts with smoked ham. The secret of achieving subtle and surprising tastes with minimal ingredients. Good main courses/ the hamburger with onion sauce and the veal with roasted green peppers. I could go on: we were so in love with this food we went there 4 times in 5 days. (The asparagus tempura, to be honest, was too heavy in taste and the crème brulée was a bit mediocre, but those were the only disappointments.)
There's a good and cheap white house wine, but the house cava was mediocre to my taste. You can sit outside and watch the coming and going on a typical tiny Barcelona square. Inside it's a busy place but the service is unbelievably fast and still friendly.
