Description: The Straights between the islands of Sardinia and Corsica is referred to on the maps as "Bocche di Bonifacio". Many fables and legends talk about this small sea arm, feared by sailors because of its powerful currents, its shallow and rocky bottom and the strong winds riding it along from North to West, as wild horses would. History talks of hundreds of shipwrecks, which beautiful and intact wreckage has remained on the sea bed until today, the most famous being the Spargi Wreck and its cargo of wine amphoras back in 120 B.C. Besides, according to Greek mythology, the Bocche di Bonifacio most probably correspond to the unknown sea corner where Ulysses came accross the Lestrigones, giants that rolled rocks down the cliffs and destroyed his fleet. In short, a little piece of sea rich in history, legends, myths and beauty. Thus, Bocca di Bonifacio is born in the junction of Sardenya and Còrsega streets in Barcelona, melting Italian traditional cuisine with today's world modernity, a welcoming home, a cellar where to mingle, share and enjoy classic and new flavours around a same table.

Everything is made in the kitchen. All produce are fresh for the day. Don't miss this place. Burgers for all tastes, perhaps not for the picky child.
