“Too much expectations”
Reviewed March 23, 2014 via mobile

One hour of waiting list. Very noisy. Sushi rolls size for kids. No complaint about the food quality indeed but still Toyo rest is better option for quality/price

“Great food, reasonable price”
Reviewed March 22, 2014

I used to go to Kibuka when I was living in Barcelona. Located in the Gracia neighborhood, it offers a wife variety of japanesse food. Standard price for a 8 pieces roll is below 15€. The only bad thing about the place is that it's quite noisy.

“Great sushi & nice service”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

Good service is a hard thing to come by in Barcelona. But at kibuka you will find gracious servers and attentive staff.

Our favorite sushi roll was the hot philadelphia roll. The foie roll was more rice than foie and rather tasteless.
The tempera shrimp were delicious and we highly recommend them.
The terriaki chicken was really moist and flavorful!
The chocolate coulant paired with wasabi ice cream is a must. So save room for it! We were hesitant at first. But its more of a sweet ice cream than spicy.

“Best Sushi I've ever had.”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

Kibuka is an amazing place to have the best sushi! The service is good and quick. Once you have a table, you usually don't wait to long for the food. They have great seaweed salad, noodles and of course.. sushi. The place is quite small so you should make reservations before going there.
For real it's the best sushi i've ever eaten, I wish I could go eat there everyday.
If you go there, order the Kibuka-Urumaki, urumaki with eal. Just beyond delicious.

“Ok choice on our first night in Barcelona”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

We went to Kibuka after it was recommended by the recepcionist of our near-by hotel. What a gem! We went Saturday night, but we only had to wait for 10 minutes, so it was not that bad. The food was great, we had makis, yakisoba and hot philadelphia. Everything was perfect. Good service, although they looked stressed out. The only bad side is how packed it was, and specially, how hot it was. I cant believe they don't have A/C. Apart from that, all good, I would recommend it, but maybe during the week when service can be a bit less rushed?
