We were only on a short 3 night visit to Barcelona, our first time in this beautiful city and on our first evening, 1st Feb '13, we took a walk down La Rambla and were approached by a bubbly Sarah Jessica Parker lookalike who was outside Taller de Tapas encouraging passersby to try. Usually this sort of approach doesn't appeal to me but she had such a great manner and was so friendly and enthusiastic that we though "why not?". Well this was an excellent decision. The food was fab, we had giant prawns, calamari, an awesome mini burger with caramelised onions and goat's cheese, chorizo in red wine, a great tomato bread & a crema Catalana dessert. The food was quick in coming although they were very busy and was hot, tasty and delicious. Our 2nd night was when we really went to town at Cinc Sentits which was sensational but on our last night we though lets go back to Taller Taps. We were tired after walking for miles and hoped the second visit would be as good as the first. We were not disappointed. This time we just had to go for the burger again as was so good, had the salted cod in batter, sausages with white beans and yet again was really good. We would highly recommend this tapas bar for friendly, efficient service in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with great food. Thank you
