“Terrible service and sluggish chefs.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2013

Food ordered (2 simple 'steaks', which apparently are translation for bbq ribs!) arrived after 45 mins uncooked. Had to be sent back to the kitchen which took another 15mins. They came back burnt and the volume of eatable meat was around 5ccm which wasn't the greatest. Chefs looked confused, and with busy restaurant they were more happy talking/walking around/sitting at the back instead of cooking. Stay away from that restaurant.

“True Catalan experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013 via mobile

It took us a while to find this place but it was worth the effort (not far from Metro Joanic). Given the number of locals that were there on a busy Friday night it was a good sign. Warm hospitality and a great menu made for a lovely evening. The snails were delicious, as were the scallops with pork. The house wine was great too. Simple fare made from great local produce led to a great result.

“Great local lunch place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

If you want authentic Catalan food where there are few/no tourists then this is the place for you. A bit hard to find in the Gracia neighborhood but well worth the search. Excellent, simple local fare cooked wonderfully. Simply order that day's menu with a carafe of local wine. Heaven!

“Nice Catalan neighborhood restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

Nice complete meal (two courses, dessert, and drink) in a neighborhood joint for only ten Euros. Menu was in Catalan, so I asked the server (in Spanish) to explain what things were, and she very pleasantly walked me through the whole menu. I ordered a lovely mushroom cream soup and some fried fish, with cheese and honey for dessert; food was excellent! The place was crammed with locals, atmosphere was charming, food was good – really, what else do you want? Highly recommended.

“Best snails ever!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

It's a very simple, but nice restaurant. Customers look like they're from the neighbourhood. My wife had blood sausage and I had snails like I never had them before! A genuine Catalan experience for a very decent price.
