My husband and I are always going back to Pla for our anniversary. We celebrated our first there, and we loved it! That was already some years ago and the experience just gets better every year.
The ambience is very quiet, dark atmosphere, nice decoration, and the super attentive staff.
The chef's dishes are amazing, very tasty with a lot of surprising ingredients and mixes.
Very romantic place to go with your date!

Romantic little spot off the beaten path in the gothic quarter. Quiet, dark, rustic. Lovely fresh food. A little expensive with small portions but always very flavorful. The staff is always very professional and helpful. Would recommend for a nice date night.

Already when you enter this lovely restaurant you know this is going to be a special night. You are welcomed by Damien who will show you to your table and make sure your glass is filled with great wine. If you ask me, always go for a wine pairing. Damien will treat you to some wines that matches you food perfectly.

The kitchen is ruled by Smith, who is a wizard when it comes to food. His passion for Km 0 products, new cooking methods and high quality food is reflected in every dish.

If you have the time, go for the tasting menu. You will be surprised by a lot of flavors and innovative presentations. This where you will truly experience the skills of the guys in the kitchen.

You can also just pick a few dishes from the menu. At our last visit it was just at the beginning of the white asparagus season. Oh my God, it was the best asparagus dish I've ever had! Have tried to copy it at home, but Smith's version is still better. It must be his wizard magic!

One last thing, you have to book in advance. Phone them the day before and you'll be OK.

So are you ready for a gastronomic adventure?

We first tried the daikon/radish app - EXCELLENT! Delicate flavors, well constructed. The 65 degree egg app was too salty for my liking. I don't know how anyone could eat all of it because there were grains of salt all over the ham broth. Disappointing! The salmon dish was a new addition and we were excited to try it but it turned out to be really salty too. The duck entree was too sweet, and duck grilled to be very rare. The highlight of the evening was the wine, and the delicious basil cream and olive oil sponge cake! I wouldn't go back again! Try Arume instead. Every single dish we had there was well-thought out and composed perfectly.
