We stayed in the Loft - Liz and Tony are fantastic - the accomodations are lovely and the location is very convenient to transit and wonderful site seeing. Essentially, it is an apartment where you can escape the tourists and live like one of the locals - very nice!

Make sure to visit Don Vito - right next door, for the best pizza in all of Barcelona - we are still trying to reproduce the pizza de la casa (jamon, arugula and tomato).

Thanks Tony and Liz !!

My husband and I just returned from a European vacation, and The Patio was a real treasure compared to our "other" accommodations. Liz and Tony were wonderful, and I would recommend The Patio to anyone traveling to the area. The location was fantastic -residential but within walking distance to major sites and literally across the street from the metro. When we travel back to the area (and we definitely want to go back!) we would plan our trip around availability!

This was my partner and I first visit to Barcelona - we live in Barbados - and after spending a month in the Uk decided at the last minute to make plans to visit Barcelona and the Costa Brava for 2 weeks. All our plans were made on the computor - we looked to Trip Adviser for bed and breakfast places to stay which is where we found this little gem,The Patio.
We arrived fairly late by our standards , but Liz and Tony were there with a warm welcome to show us our room and explain the breakfast procedure for the next morning .
The Patio has 2 comfortable rooms , we stayed in both during our 3 night stay, and a pretty breakfast room, where a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, juice , coffee and tea waits for you..
The Metro is coveniently a few yards across the road, there is also a small park close by and a few local bars/restaurants, we felt safe and right at home.
Liz and Tony were most helpful in finding our next stop on the Costa Brava , spending time on their computor, asking questions, checking out accommodation and bus/train timetables - we couldn't have done it without them.
To summarize, we would recommend Tony and Liz's Patio to anyone visiting Barcelona and it would be the first place we would look at if we return to beautiful Spain in the future. Norma and Aubrey

We stayed with Liz and Toni for 8 days, after two days it felt like home. The B&B is situated close enough to train and metro stations as well as places like Font Màgica/Plaça de Espanya to move around town conveniently and at the same time in a quiet part of the city. If you occupy both rooms, your group will have their private little flat in Barcelona.
What a luxury, to come back after an eventful day of sightseeing and to relax on the terrace on the roof, where it is cool and quiet. There you can sit and decide where to go for diner. We mostly chose places in walking distance to the B&B. Liz will be helpful to find nice places to eat.
The bedrooms and the dining room are furnished and decorated with love and taste.
Liz is a very gracious host. She welcomed us with a nice cup of coffee and a cold bottle of Cava in the fridge and was always ready to supply us with our favourite things for breakfast, advice on what to see, how to get there and to answer all our questions. I will not tell you, what she made us for breakfast the last two days, though ;-) You might find out yourself.
To sum this up I have to say, I feel like I have a home in Barcelona to return to when I go there next time.
