Our first dinner out at Barcelona we tried La Flauta based on our daughters recommendation who goes to school there. It was pretty good. We had the Spanish omelette, the potatos with the cheese sauce, fried artichokes, cold shrimp in a spicy sauce. The tapas were good but not as good as the next night we ate out at Cervesaria Catalana and the the cost here was more!

We were recommended here by our brother and sister in law, and we were not disappointed. There was a large crowd of people outside waiting for seats, but we were seated before we even finished our beer and wine! The food was so fresh and tasty. There was an extensive list of dishes offered, and we asked for recommendations from our server. They have an English menu available as well, for those that are not comfortable reading Spanish. One of the best meals in Barcelona, we would highly suggest it!

Visited La Flauta one lunchtime during our trip to Barcelona.

As we arrived before 1pm we weren´t allowed to order the daily specials but we ordered one of the “platos combinados” (similar to the daily specials and also contains bread, main, water/wine and dessert, all for €12.50).

The food was great!! Highly recommended.

Tip: the tapas also looked amazing and tasty... unfortunately when we went back the next day to try them the restaurant was closed as it was bank holiday in Spain.

La Flauta is everything you dream of when talking tapas. Good service and tasty food. you may have to wait in line for a few minutes but well worth it.
If La Flauta were a woman she would be classy, sexy, and tasty temptress that you couldn't get out of your head after you have tried her. I love you La Flauta... come home with me.

Visited La Flauta twice during a one week stay on Barcelona both times for lunch. The daily special are amazing for interesting good Spanish/Catalan food. For 12.50e each we got 3 courses with bread, full bottle of passable wine , bottle of water, including taxes and service. The place gets very busy around 13:30 but its worth a wait.
