For USD 27 per person, you get a 3-course dinner with wine and coffee included. That's the best thing about Flamant. That said, food and service were uneven. The decor is top-notch, looks like a Michelin star restaurant. Very large space with many, many tables. Some large groups, so can be noisy. The asparagus soup and goat cheese salad were relish. Panacotta dessert and coffee (served with warm milk) excellent. But our entrees (seared tuna & sausage dish) were very salty, while the pear cake was too sweet. Soup and entrees were not hot, just tepid, when served at our table. Service was spotty. Maitre d' was friendly and pleasant, but took a long time to get us the prixe fix menu we requested. Waiters not very attentive, they seem to have too many tables to serve. Overall, good value for price but apart from that, nothing special.

I ate there with a group of colleagues, for our last meal in Barcelona. The menu was set with three choices for each course. There was no flexibility to change anything on the menu, so being lactose intolerant I had to forego the dessert. Better for the waistline so not a problem as such, but it would have been nice to see the same flexibility as in other restaurants during the visit. To top it the quality of the food was not that good either.

Meeting a boarding school friend from 50 years ago this was a delightful place for a long, leisurely lunch at terrific prices....3 courses plus glass of wine for under 10 euros.
What a setting - room opens to another room to another room, with wood panels and glassware set in recesses. Very atmospheric.
Service was attentive despite place humming with diners. Happy to go there again.

They could do better. Definitely. But you can have a good meal and bottle of wine for 2 people for 30 euros. There. you have it.

We had a very positive experience at the Flamant Restaurant. We arrived at opening time (20:15) and were welcomed by a very subdued, intimate, romantic ambiance. The restaurant is huge, with a number of spacious rooms each opening into the next one. The décor is reminiscent of an English gentleman's club, with wooden panels, bookshelves and book cabinets. We enjoyed our surroundings and the excellent dishes we had ordered until 21:30, when customers started flooding in, taking over the places by the hundred and turning the atmosphere into that of a noisy marketplace. Fortunately, we had almost finished our meal, so we asked for our bill, paid the very reasonable price and rushed out to save our eardrums, after being thanked by the curteous maitre d'. Remember that Spanish dinner time is LATE!
