Great vermouth, good tapas, and cheap. It's usually packed but it's worth it! Old fashioned bar, but great!

Ate here last night. Go early as it gets packed! Great local eatery, basic decor but great food, house wines also good. We pigged out on grilled whole squid, deep fried green whole chiilies, grilled sardines, prawns & razor clams & tomato bread. Food all excellent plenty of non fried items to choose from also really good value. Must visit if you want to experience an authentic Spanish tapas bar. Our waiter was great the barman a bit grumpy! Still who cares!

If you want really good seafood you can’t miss this one. The fish tapas are extraordinary and when I say tapas don’t get confused by some tapas dishes served in some Spanish restaurant back in the UK with tiny portions. Here we talk about a plate full of goodies, the fried calamari melted in the mouth like Nutella, the small fried prawns to be eaten with the skin on are a delight, the baccala fritters a dream! Plus some cava to wash it all down, you can really go wrong and the prices are amazing considering the quality and quantity of the fish. I have noticed that while back in England or France or Italy to name a few other countries, fish has become something for the few elite, here anyone can afford to have fish which is great.

Great food, all locals, buzzy and fun atmosphere. Great food (lots of seafood, big varied menu of tapas) and very inexpensive! Our bill for wine and loads of tapas was less than 40 euros! Go here!

A friend who lived in Barcelona recommended Jai-Ca and it didn't disappoint. It's easy to walk to from the beach or metro, and well worth stopping by. It was busy when we went but we managed to get a table inside. The tapas was delicious and the sangria was the best we had in a week in Barcelona. We were even treated to an impromptu performance some Spanish singers and guitar players.
