Every time we go to Barcelona we have to dine at El Pintor.
It is a restaurant where we feel at home - this is our place.
( We have other "our-places" in BCN after all these years visiting this magic city, but some are secret!!!!)
The food varies, The skin of the suckling pig can be very crispy one night and three nights later it's everything else but crispy.
Coming from Scandinavia you may feel the service a little strange.But this is the El Pintor way - like it or leave. We like it - but comment it every time.

Bachalao in various ways - try it!!!
And of course beef with truffles and foie gras - smashing !!
Every time we visit El Pintor we ask for the same table. This way we make this good restaurant a part of our Barcelona.
