Hidden place in Poblenou worth visiting for its arroz Nero or the pulpo. Nice terrace in the backyard during summer time.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Fantastic 3 course lunch menu for €11 and very close to the beach.

The best meal that we could take at Barcelona!
If you're at the rambla del poblenou it's a must to.
The chef is a very cool guy and the service is great

We are locals and hadn't tried this new place yet. I am glad we did! My leg of lamb was absolutely spectacular, and at about 15 euros one of the best quality price ratios I ever found in Barcelona. Big, tender, crispy outside yum! The appetizers were also excellent, cubes of sheep cheese fried and on top of strawberry jam, and mini tapas with rice butifarra and goat cheese. My wife's quinoa with shrimp on the other hand was nice looking but not so good, way too much garlic for my tastes. With water, a vermouth and a bottle of good Ribera del duero about 50 euros. Not cheap but adequate given quality. Location is great, only a few steps from la Rambla del poblenou, very close to the beach. The place was quite empty on a Friday evening and it's a pity, because a lot of people will pay similar prices for much worse food on la Rambla... They also have a very nice patio in the back. People should make the effort to get out of the tourist route and try this place! Also a few steps away is Vell poblenou, another excellent and more established restaurant, also significantly better than what you get on la Rambla.
Advice to the owners: 1. make your place more visible from la rambla! You are 20 meters away and yet you are invisible from the tourist route! 2. Given the quality of your food you should make your wine list longer. Only 8 reds or so is too few.
Anyway, recommended, try it out!
