Booked this restaurant in advance as the finale of our 3 night stay in Barcelona and it was amazing in all respects. Food, service, atmosphere excelled.
Only 2 choices on the menu and we selected the surprise menu which was seven courses of indulgence and brilliance, complete with the wine flight. Our menu consisted of Tomato Consomme, Green Olive croquette with wasabi peas, Foie Gras with miso soup, wild mushroom risotto, Hake with shitake mushrooms and asparagus in teriyaki sauce, duck with asparagus and red jus reduction, carrot with meringue topping and the amazing electric mouth sensation of magic dust, vanilla panacotta, petit fours, coffee. Each course was fully explained and a glass of wine selected to accompany each course.
The team were full of enthusiasm and life and it is simply a place not to be missed. Book in advance of your trip because there are only 24 covers and the cosiness adds to the culinary experience. It is a must visit restaurant.
