Description: One says that it is the first house that was constructed in the district of the Barceloneta; their walls later gave shelter to a bar of wines and to a tavern of fishermen. Until in 1956 Ramona and Ramonet they initiate a project that, without them to intuit it, would register the gastronomy of the marine district. Can Ramonet is a restaurant that watches the past but the present lives, and is that tradition and modernity are not fought. It offers an amiable space devised by the interiorista Lazaro Rosa Violan to facilitate a gastronomical experience reviewed by chef Jordi Herrera, of the Manairo restaurant. Faithful to the line of Catalan traditional kitchen emphasizing rice and fish, Can Ramonet serves so much in his interior as in his terrace black, caldosos rice and paellas of the house, vermicelli, zarzuelas of seafood or sea breams, meats selections or a well-taken care of selection of covers and classic subjects of gossip and author. “… and thus it will follow because a place that lasts three centuries has eagerness of being eternal.”

Very friendly staff.
Myself and my girlfriend went to this location. while they say that there's a minimum order for two people or paella, they are nice enough to split it between a vegetarian one and a seafood one since one of us is vegetarian. I also noticed that the size of the wine glasses is massive. I would recommend the place for visitors.

We came here recommended by a tour guide and it was pretty good. We wanted paella and it was tasty, a little overcooked but overall we definitely enjoyed it! The Iberian ham was delicious and the dessert was very good. I would recommend coming here for sure!

We went here to get paella. The restaurant was recommended by a Barcelona native and we were expecting out of the ordinary dining. It is a charming, old, revered location in the city. The service was friendly and professional but the paella was not at all what we expected. We came away thinking that experience and longevity count but really good paella would have been more appreciated.

Authentic or touristy? I felt the rustic charm of this place is being slowly replaced with a focus on attracting tourists rather than remaining true to its heritage. Food was truly average to bad as I suspect the food contributed to my wife throwing up all night. ( she was the only one to have mussels). Overall I think there are better places to visit.
