On the waterfront. Good Paella and 5 page wine list. We enjoyed the Paella and the waiters recommendation of wine was perfect. It could have had a little more seafood in it. You will need reservations for this restaurant on the weekend. We did not eat outside as it was too windy but that looked nice and is directly on the beach.

This place was a great disappointment. We went there for lunch on a Saturday and asked for a plate of seafood and fish mixed grill. The quality of the seafood was really poor, the shrimp were frozen and the service was really sloppy. We found it really overpriced and definitely not worth the money. Not recommended.

We loved the location of this restaurant (right on the beach), and the food was great! We had the seafood croquettes (perhaps the best we had in Spain) and the Valencian Rice with Lobster...we had been out late drinking the night before, so this was one of the most satisfying lunches we had on our trip!

We have had dinner at this place with colleagues. The location is good; it's near the sea and in summer time there is the possibility to eat outside where you will have a nice view on the boulevard. The precourses were great and we all had paella as a main course. I am not a paella lover, but the paella at Can Majo was the best I ever had so far. The dessert were very tasty.
The only thing that I would like to comment on is the fact that they have almost nobody who speaks English.
The prices are very fair for a michelin start restaurant.

Can Majo was suggested by Friendly Rentals as offering possibly the best paella in Barcelona. Sadly after tasting the paella at Taller de Tapas earlier in the week we didn't rate Can Majo any more than average in terms of food, clientele and ambiance. We were pleased to secure a table given the lateness of our reservation via email. However upon being seated at a quiet table for two we soon realised that this restaurant was suited more for the English and Americans rather than the locals. Majority of the tables were occupied by tourists. Complimentary tomato bread was average, house glass of Rioja was nice. Pre dinner olives with pickled onions and gherkins were tasty. The shellfish paella took 20 minutes to arrive which we were advised about when we ordered. The paella for two contained two langoustines, two large prawns along with five mussels. This restaurant is located at they bottom of a very quiet street with no view outside when you're eating here on an evening. Filled a spot on the night but wouldn't return. Total bill €45.26 to include two paella, two cover charge, one large mineral water and two glasses of house red.
