This restaurant exemplifies classic old-world excellence in every way, from the quality of the food, to the service and the hospitality of the owner. It is the kind of dining experience that is hard to come by these days-- trend free, perfectly executed dishes that exemplify the heritage of Catalonian food, using the very best ingredients. The dining room is simple, but adorned with beautiful paintings, and formal but not the least bit stuffy. The gazpacho with lobster and grilled prawns with sea salt were the best I have ever tasted. Don't skip dessert. Creme Catalan doesn't get better than this and I am still dreaming about their chocolate soufflé.
