Having a private tour to explain the details and intricate details are well worth it. Gaudí was brilliant. He seems to have knowledge known before his time. He used geometry to build so many of the items. He created a way for the water to drain in the columns. This park is amazing and beautiful.
One of the houses looks like the house in the story of Hansel and Gretel even with the candy around the window

We tracked up the steep hill to find all tickets sold out until 6pm. Much of the park is undergoing restoration. Alot of street vendors selling tat along the open gardens.
No cafes in the park.
We would recommend leaving it for a few years before visiting. Give them a chance to sort it out.

Our tour guide was Esther and she was very pleasant and informational. She told us a lot about the history of the park and it’s brilliant developers Guell and Gaudi

Park Güell was full of Gaudí’s influence and architecture. Worth a walk round and the guide we had was very good and knowledgable. It is worth a walk round but you don’t really need a guide.

This place is beautiful and if you can get the private tour even better , there you will get a lot of the history of this area and even thou it never lived up as a residential area it’s still extremely beautiful. If one is not staying in the area it’s a little far away but with a taxi drive away which was less than €20.

Awesome time and had a very good guide named Xavier, who explained everything about the park and history. Would recommend to others.

The place Is beautiful but it's a field trip for students when we came there. Long uphill walk from metro. I sprained my ankle during the tour even I'm wearing rubbershoes. Uneven pathway more like cobblestones.

Gaudí at his best.
Yes, la Sagrada Familia may be his most renowned building, but he really worked his magic in this place. The gardens of El Park Guell are not only a beautiful and relaxing city park with amazing views. They hide all the mysteries of the ancient mediterranean mythology carved in stones and trees.
Can't miss it!

The park exceeded my fairly-low expectations. I would book tickets in advance, and also plan to see the Guell house (outside and separate from the other pay area) around the same time. The house closes earlier, but you can buy tickets in advance and see before your park Guell tour. The mosaic designs and architecture are amazing.
