Without doubt, the best thing about this hotel/hostel, whatever, is it's location. The port, La Rambla and two Metro stops, which are well connected to all parts of the city, are well within five minutes walking distance. A ten minute walk takes you to the beaches of Barceloneta and the winding ancient streets of Barri Gotic.
Essentially, this hostel is a small hotel. I shared a private twin room with a friend at a very reasonable rate (especially given the location) which had a private bathroom, TV, air conditioning and a safe. It was also cleaned to a high standard daily. The staff were friendly enough, always there to help if needed, and the reception was staffed at all times. Definitely recommended.

This is more like a hotel but carries the price of a hostel. Clean, modern room with all the ammenities including hair dryer and television. Free safety deposit box and regular maid service including fresh towels daily if and when required. Air conditioning available and a ceiling fan which was enough for us. 24 hour reception and very secure. The location is brilliant, 2 minutes walk from La Rambla, Christopher Columbus column and the harbour area. Would highly recommend this to everyone.

Just returned from an amazing trip to Barcelona with my boyfriend, the rooms are beautifully clean, the reception and cleaning staff are lovely and welcoming and the location right near the port and la rambla is perfect. So much to do in the area and plenty to do for eighteen year olds who want to go to clubs and bars or just have a relaxed meal. I would definitely stay here next time I return to Barcelona!

I like that the front desk is by the entrance/exit. They have a button to let you in and out; gives you a sense of security. We still locked our door at night. There's always at the front desk. There's a safety deposit box in your room, which is great for passports & valuables.. Breakfast is Euro 7 if paid the night before; spread of ham, salami, proscuitto, bread, juices and coffee/tea or cocoa, etc. If paid the same day Euro 8. Weather is so lovely, cool & sunny during the day. The people are as lovely and warm as the weather. Very helpful, not only the hotel staff, locals as well. Took time to inform you where to go,what bus or Metro to take. Appreciate that.

Roberto from Sicily & Ramon fr Catalan at the front desk of hotel were so helpful and friendly. We didn't get lost because of their info on Metro/bus..

Internet is free which is a great plus, no time limit.

The hotel is so near La Rambla & Catalunya Square. So you can walk anytime you like to eat, people watch and see the culture and have the flavors of Spain within reach. Take the hop on/hop off bus for a quick tour and get off at points of interest. Of course, football is huge there, so lots of FCB shirts. People would just start singing in La Rambla and the market Boquiero (sorry if mispelled) - very festive. We went to the beach one morning for a few minutes, but water is just too cold to swim.

The hotel is a few meters to the Metro, the bus stops in front of the hotel and a 10 minute to the stops of the hop on/hop off bus.

Had a wonderful time - wish we still had time to see other sights.

If you love Paella, this is the place!

Room Tip: For a family of four (4), they will give you a triple sharing and pay for the extra bed. We got a corner room, non smoking. The only down side is, which is not a nuisance, is there are many step up or step down (which was kinda odd) but hey other than that it's great.

The place is a bit of a maze, I stayed for two nights, this a standard value place if you are wanting a romantic stay in Barcelona this is not the place, I was on a stag do (not a roudy one) and it's perfect the beach is a bit of a walk away but there are some good nightlife bars near by. The rooms were clean the beds were comfortable, the shower was the most powerful shower I have ever stood under I nearly fell over the first day the water was really really hot but the next day the water was ice cold that was a shock! The Camp Nou is a metro trip away which is easy to get on.
