BarcinoB&B is a real gem, one of the most beautifully decorated priavte homes I have seen. The location is excellent - walking distance from Plaza Catalunya, the central square with train station and "aerobuses", and thus easily accessible to the airport. The breakfast was abundant, fresh and tasty - our kids loved it! The staff is solicitous and provided us with very good suggestion about a nearby restaurant for a tapas and paella. The rooms have a good size, are very clean and comfortable. Wifi worked very rapidly and unproblematically. All in all a most cozy little place which only enhance any visitor's trip to Barcelona. We will definitelty return any time!

Room Tip: We stayed at sixth floor in a room with amazing views over the city.

It is said that location and ambiance are paramount for a great Bed and Breakfast place. This place has those things (plus a nice common area, modern lift/elevator, wonderful bathroom) and you will enjoy your stay: if you stay on Floor 2. Do NOT stay on floor six, as we did, if breakfast (area) is important to you! The kitchen is your breakfast room, it is cramped with more than 3 guests, and there is no table at which to sit; instantly messy and full counters and dirty dishes in the sink. Don't stay on Floor 6 for this reason! That said, the staff super helpful, hoveringly helpful at times. Our "suite" was doable, good A/C, a worn sofa and was quite small, not the gracious space we expected. One other note: Barcelona B & B's are obscenely high priced compared to other European cities because of obscenely high demand.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on 6th floor: kitchen is tiny, messy and only three seats, you stand up to eat!

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was lovely. Whilst we didn't see Ferran, the girls on the staff were very helpful and we had a great welcome and were offered tips on where to go and the best way to get there etc. We shared a bathroom but this wasn't really a problem, but the room next to us was unoccupied for the length of our stay so not sure if it would have been more inconvenient if it hadn't been. Beds very comfortable and rooms decorated nicely.
The location is excellent and we could walk pretty much everywhere and there were several metro options for getting further afield within 5 minutes walk.

From the minute we arrived this B&B we were taken extremely good care of. We had a beautiful room with a gorgeous bathroom. From the room we overlooked one of the main avenues in Barcelona, la Gran Via, and we really felt the pulse of the city because of this. The kitchen area was very cozy, well equiped and tended. The location cannot be better. You walk out the door and you are in the hub of the area. We never moved our car. Also, Ferran gave us suggestions on where to go outside Barcelona by public transportation, which we are not very familiar with back from where we come. It was a great experience. Would stay again in a heartbeat!!!

Room Tip: You should choose a room with a view to la Gran Via at the sixth floor. Amazing!

Ferran and his staff are stellar! They all have a great gift of hospitality and have a strong desire to help you enjoy the city of Barcelona. They helped with recommendations for dinner, shopping, pottery, art and entertainment. Ferran made us dinner reservations near the water, which was great! The B&B offers laundry service for 10E, 5 to wash and 5 to dry. We were traveling to 6 cities with about 20 pounds of luggage, so we definitely needed help with our laundry and it was a great amenity to just leave it with the girls to take care of it. It arrived in our room, folded and clean.

The rooms were very clean and spacious and carefully designed with beautiful Spanish art and interior design. The breakfast was very good, and there were plenty of options for picky eaters. They had multiple options for coffee as well. We did not choose a room that was en suite, however the shared bathroom was clean and worked well.

The location was central to public transportation and the location that you would want to be; however, it was not overly noisy. We were up a few floors - don't worry there's an elevator - so that probably helped with the noise.

Overall, an amazing experience. I would not only recommend this B&B to friends and family, but I would definitely stay here again. Ferran taught us so much about this city, and I hope to come here many times in the future.

I was here with friends and collegues for seven nights during a conference. Words do not express how impressed we were with this place and its staff. While I was expecting regular hotel service, what we got was over and above.
We stayed at the sixth floor (which I’d recommend doing for the nice view). Everything was set up for us– and by everything, I mean anything we asked for and stuff we didn’t know to ask about. There was a wonderful breakfast and we were rocommended the best tapas places and restaurants in Barcelona - my favorite was the tapas place Ciudad Condal, just a 5 minutes walk from the B&B, which, by the way, is located at the heart of the city. You don't miss a thing staying at BarcinoB&B.
There were hills with a fair amount of walking to get each place – while ok if you are able-bodied, my husband is in a wheelchair. The bellmen were there within five minutes to pick us up and take us all over the property in their golf carts.
The recreation staff on the beach was on top of our every need. From physically helping my husband get in the water to setting up seating on the beach with all the accessories.
Property restaurants were wonderful. We ate at all of them – some of them twice. I have to say, the cheeseburger from room service ranks up there with the best burger I’ve ever eaten. We even ordered it twice to make certain it wasn’t a fluke.
Other than leaving the property for a few excursions, everything you could possibly need is on property.
We look forward to our schedules opening up again for us to get away again!

Room Tip: Sixth floor in Gran Via
