Great boutique hotel. Very chic, clean and modern with friendly staff. Nice location, though not in City Center. 1 block from the metro stop that will take you wherever you need to go within and outside of the city.
Would definitely stay here again.

We were eleven people in four rooms and all of them were very nice and clean.
All the staff was very friendly and helpful and the whole atmosphere is family-like.
I can recommend it very much!

Stayed there for only 2 nights. The hotel is very small and cozy, you feel almost like home. The only downside I can think of are the pilows wich could be softer, but this is no brainer. Very good breakfast withe the best quality stuff, not cheap continental breakfast.

If you like a quirky blend of old and new that gives you that relaxed feeling of something comfortable blended with some very modern design then this is the place for you. The staff are very friendly, you almost feel as if you have been here before and nothing seems too much trouble. We had the in house breakfast which was very good with top quality produce and also ate in the restaurant on one evening which we also enjoyed.
If we ever returned to Barcelona we would also return to this hotel.
The hotel is situated about 100 yards from the Metro making it very easy to get around to all the main tourist spots in Barcelona.

Very modern reception area and a very pleasant smell.

Nice size bed but mattress was a bit hard. I had back ache everyday.

Breakfast was continental. There was no hot food so if you're looking for full English you wouldn't get it. Breakfast is served till 11 am which was handy. They serve cava and wine on breakfast too.

The hotel is 2 minutes from rocafort station of the metro. To the airport the aerobus was very handy. Cpst less than 6 euro each.

There was no coffee making facility in the room but they serve coffee and cake on the first floor from 5 to 7 pm.

Wifi is free everywhere in the hotel just ask for the username and password for how many device you will use. The user expires midday on your checkout day.

The ambiance was relaxing, the decor was eye catching the bedroom was first class. Well equipped beautifully presented and a real pleasure to stay in. Had the breakfast which wa son offer 10euros pp - great decisionj. Dined in on first night and the food was excellent, super presentation and very reasonable. All in all a great place.

My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel around 9:30 a.m. after our overnight flight, and the busy front desk staff were very efficient in helping us. They arranged for the storage of our bags and offered us the first available room. They also printed the wi-fi code for us to use while we waited. We did have to wait about 45 minutes in the comfortable lobby. As with most European hotels, common areas are small at the hotel, but they are well-arranged, comfortable, and stylish.

Our room was fairly large (by European standards) and beautifully appointed. The bathroom was very large, and I loved the instantly hot shower with excellent water pressure. The "king" bed was actually two twins pushed together, the linens were high quality, the drapes were heavy and could be used to block all light, and the room was quiet.

Over our 5-night stay, I had several interactions with the front desk. Each person with whom I spoke was efficient and very helpful, and they all were able to communicate well in English. I also utilized the excellent (but costly) laundry service.

Each afternoon (around 4pm, as I recall), there was a complementary "afternoon break" with very good coffee and some nondescript pastries. The break area was on the 2nd floor, which had a balcony overlooking the 1st floor and comfortable chairs. I also had Sunday brunch at the small restaurant one morning, and the offering was good, including a great selection of fresh fruit, some nice breads and cheeses, and ham (of course).

Each morning, I walked approximately 1 km to my conference near the Placa Espana, and I felt perfectly safe walking by myself in this area. In the evenings, my boyfriend and I walked or took the subway to restaurants, and we also felt safe in this city. One does have to be alert at all times for pickpockets though. (My bag was partially unzipped by a thief on the crowded metro one time, but nothing was taken. I noticed that someone was too close to me and stepped away, but did not notice that the bag (which I carried tightly under my arm) was unzipped until after I got off. The thieves are skilled.)

Restaurant recommendation - TAPAC 24 -- excellent and fun! Don't be scared by the line -- it is worth the wait, and as you get close, you can order wine while you wait.

Room Tip: Our room had a terrible view, overlooking a lower roof in the back of the building, however, it was...
