This really is a fantasic little hotel. The hosts can not do enough for you, recommending restaurants, places of interest etc. We thoughly enjoyed our stay in this unique hotel. Full of antiques and items of interest. It was a hidden gem for us who are interested in antiques etc. Everything is within easy reach, bus stops, metro, key places to visit etc. The hotel itself is very clean and the terrace where you can have you breakfast is a treat. We would certainly stay in the hotel again if we went back to Barcelona and would not hesitate in recommending the hotel to anyone wishing for a special place to stay.

PERFECT-PERFECT-PERFECT
There is no way I could describe how wonderful this hotel is. We are in our mid 50's and have stayed many places in our life time. I can be somewhat critical about where I stay. Everything was perfect here. Beautiful decorated room and breakfast dining area. The hotel is very clean with all the comforts of home. There is nothing the owners would not do to make your stay perfect. Detail and thought is put into every corner of this hotel. We walked to all the sights and restaurants with no problem at all. This is not really a place for small children. Anyone not staying here while in Barcelona is missing something. I would return in a heart beat.

Room Tip: Room 102 with a quiet privat sitting area

Strongly recommend this place if the neighbors don't bother you. I mean this is the hostel not a hotel. When I looked inside my room I was shocked by the furniture, by the details that made it looks so unordinary. Our room overlooks on the street. The administrator helped us with finding our hostel on a map. Also recommended good restaurants.

This hotel is a hidden (literally) gem. Situated on the second floor of a vintage apartment building on the Gran Via de Les Corts Catalanes, Barcelona's main steet with a very small sign but it could not be more central and is within walking distance of all the places you will want to visit.
The hosts cannot do enough for their guests. We came home with a bottle of Priorat wine from a tasting, plus ham and cheese one evening and they set up plates, glasses, cutlery and a cork screw on the delightful terrace (where you will enjoy breakfast each morning) without our even asking. There is a computer available for guest use and the hosts give out their cell phone numbers so that they can be contacted art any time with questions or for assistance. They have an excellent array of tourist guides on Barcelona and the hosts are full of suggestions for restaurants, routes and how to use public transport (which is excellent by the way).
There are 10 rooms I think and all are different so be specific about your needs. We weren't and ended up in a twin room with little drawer space but we saw into other rooms and they looked more spacious.
Below the hotel is an excellent Argentinian restaurtant (The Patagonia) which does a special value menu for guests of the hotel.

Room Tip: Be specific on your requirements - see above.
