We stayed for 5 nights in June, we were in Barcelona for the Catalunya MotoGP. It’s a lovely hotel, ideally located for the main attractions. There are plenty of bars and restaurants close by.
We caught the Aerobus, it cost 5.90€ each way and we got off at Urgell which was about a block away from the hotel.
The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful, special thanks to Berta who helped to arrange transport to the Circuit.
We stayed in a superior room which was on the 6th Floor. It was very clean and spacious, with a comfy bed and a lovely bathroom, we didn’t have a view, we looked out onto other rooms, which didn’t really matter as we were out most of the day.
We went up to the rooftop bar a couple of times, it was lovely to catch a few rays with a cocktail.
We didn’t eat at the hotel, we found a little gem of a restaurant called Eixampeling which was a couple of blocks away.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends, we had a great stay.

Stayed for 6 nights and was the perfect location for us to see Barcelona. We spent 2 days at the beach which is around a 45 minute walk away but there’s plenty to see on route and bars and cafes if you want a break. Was my boyfriends birthday one of the days and he was treated to a bottle of cava and strawberries in the room alongside a spa voucher (didn’t use) but was a lovely touch! Breakfast was lovely lots of choice! Roof top bar is quite expensive but it is lovely there. Didn’t eat tea at the hotel however there are plenty of places nearby which are also a lot cheaper. The room had little storage space and was so dark it was hard to see into the wardrobe. The small balcony is nice. We would definitely stay again if we were to visit Barcelona again!

3 days spent in this hotel. The reception is top and smiling, the hotel very wery situated. The room was clean and the bed particularly confortable. The only disagreament was the fact that the swimming pool was very small. But except that, I really recommend.

Yes the hotel is nice and in a good location but we WILL NOT be back! Never stayed at a hotel and complained twice.

Before arriving I asked for Cava and strawberries to be delivered to the room for our anniversary which was confirmed through email, however when we walked in the room the hotel did not deliver. The guys at reception were very nice and apologetic so I let it go as what else could go wrong ...

A couple of days in when we went for breakfast, housekeeping came in to fix up our room which was fine. When we came back from breakfast to get ready for going out, there was a knock at the door and the housekeeper let herself in and realised we were back so left (so that’s twice now, when everything in the room has been done). At around half 4 that day we came back to the room to get showered and dressed again to go back out. After I came out the shower (with no clothes on), AGAIN the housekeeper was at the door, only this time she did not give us the chance to shout not to come in but proceeds to ‘knock on the door’ and enter at the same time, seeing me! After this I was totally shocked and upset that this happened that I called reception to explain what happened.
I now did not feel safe in the room and felt that anyone could just enter the room when they felt like it.
Yes, the hotel did give us a free bottle of Cava and strawberries and spa voucher which I appreciated, but it still happened. I did not have a good sleep that night as like I said, I did not feel safe in the room.
Why was the housekeeper needing in so many times?

Then checking out we were hit with a ‘city tax charge’...

Fair to say I was more than happy to go home!

the reception greeting was friendly and room clean and modern we were on the front of the hotel with views of the city. walk to Pl Catalunia in 15 mins easily, if you get from the airport by the express bus service it takes just 20 mins and there is a stop a couple of minutes from the hotel - excellent and very easy. The bar staff on the roof terrace are fantastic,

Room tip: over floor 3 are the best views and at the front of the hotel- doors are double glazed which cutsout the traffic noise very well
