“A classic masterpiece in hospitality, wonderful hotel”
Reviewed March 27, 2013

The hotel is very modern, clean and with impeccable mannered staff. From the minute you arrive everything is catered for, we had an upgraded queen superior room for a few pounds more and it was worth every penny, the bed was to die for. Very expensive for drinks and breakfast but the evening meals were excelent value and cooked to the highest standard, I have to say probably one of the best meals of my life. Due to a cock up with The Travel Republics booking system we were left without breakfast and at 30 euros each per day it was never going to happen, I had a major rant at the hotel before finding out it wasnt there fault, and what do you think the hotels answer to that was? Leave us a complementary bottle of champagne and chocolates to say sorry! First class and will def go there again.

Superb hotel well worthy of its 5 stars! Just a few minutes walk away to the beach and only 2 metro stops away to Jaume 1 or passeig de Gracia. 10 mins along the promenade to eat tapas with the locals in Barcoloneta. Weather was warm and sunny so thoroughly enjoyed the roof- top terrace and heated pool. Perfect hotel for sightseeing and relaxation. Loved it! The breakfast overlooking the deck and pool on ground level was wonderful also. Stylish breakfast area. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Top class hotel, great location if you don't mind a little walk to the main shopping area. Went to a restaurant on the harbour near the hotel on the first night but out of season the marina lacked atmosphere. Walk down the sea front to the main tourist area but I would recommend heading to a road called Via Laietana rather than La Rambla. La Rambla lacked atmosphere but if you go to the top and then turn right and take the fifth right down Via Laietana and then do all the little streets off here great feel to them all. Take the little roads near the Gaudi Cathedral too for true traditional atmosphere. Back to the hotel, roof top pool brill and breakfast superb !! All round first class will return !! Staff really helpful !! My friend and I were celebrating and they left a bottle of cava in our room for our arrival !!

Extremely good service, very cool location with nice bars and restaurants on the beach right below. Rooms are OK and breakfast is even higher level than one could expect in such a place. Nice pool on the roof with jaccuzzi. I highly recommand

Room Tip: definitely upgrade for sea view !

Set nicely by the beach and close enough to walk to the Ramblas, we found the Pullman to be an all round wonderful hotel. Reception and restaurant staff were extremely helpful, super choice for breakfast, and spacious rooms contributed to an all round positive experience. The bathrooms gets a big 'WOW' too. One of the hop on hop off tour buses stops just a few hudred yards away. Walk towards the beach (more or less at the back of the hotel) and there are restaurants and shops alongside a very picturesque harbour. I have stayed in the Monjuic area a few times and really enjoyed it, but here, you have the best of Barcelona at your feet.

this is the perfect choice for a stay in Barcelona; by the beach yet a short ride into the centre of barcelona.the staff are friendly and can give lots of advice on where to go and what to see. our room was clean, modern, big comfortable bed and really quiet for a good nights sleep.the breakfast is fantastic fresh fruit, cheese and cold meats, as well as cooked breakfast with sausage eggs and bacon in a bright sunny room looking out over the deck and outdoor pool. Theres a great pool on the roof with fantastic views over the sea...
just around the corner you can catch the open top tour bus for a great ride around all the main attractions, make sure you visit the parc guell to see the amazing gaudi creations. its a great place to have a picnic and take in fantastic views of the city.
there are so many tapas bars and restaurants to visit and dont miss the food market off the ramblas. there are so many brilliant sights to see, i cannot wait to go back We would definitely recommend the hotel and the city as a must see city break.

came with a friend for the weekend and it was fantastic. they even left her a bottle of champagne on the house for her birthday. we were given a smoking room at first and it smelt of cigarettes, neither of us smoke so we asked to change rooms, that was done with out hassle.
friendly staff, good location next to all the clubs and the beach is just round the corner.
pool on the terraces was lovely.
