Two blocks from Sagrada Familia and subway stop. If you are ok with the location (not central, but easily accessible and pleasant one) and the price is right, go for it. The room felt a bit small, bathroom was ok. Breakfast is decent, but not exceptional. It is much cheaper to buy room with breakfast included than paying for it separately. Free and properly working wifi.
There is a fruit shop just on the other side of the road and a couple of fast food places at the Sagrada Familia square.

Make sure you read review from Steve B (September 12, 2012) - good info on hotel, public transport and places to eat.

Check the balcony on the top floor.

As others have said, this is a cheap, clean, decent hotel in a good location, perfect for a short city break - if staying for an entire week, I would pick somewhere a little more central and with better facilities. The beds are somewhat hard but this is OK for a short break. The room was spotlessly cleaned each morning. One nagging point, is that this is the first hotel I have stayed in worldwide where tea and coffee making facilities did not exist in the room.

We didn't take breakfast at the hotel as there are plenty of nice cafes and shops on the street of the hotel and the street parallel to it, where you can pick up much cheaper breakfasts, pastries and some very nice baklava.

For evening meals, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, but avoid the ones close to the Sagrada Familia itself as they are seriously overpriced.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the metro and Sagrada Familia. The metro will take you to most places you would wish to be in 10-15 minutes.

The hotel price is much less than its real value!! I was surprised that it was very cheap and at the same time the hotel is very modern, rooms are big..Bathroom is fancy, very high speed internet! the location is just perfect!! you are few blocks away from metro station and famous Sagarada Familia cathedral. many restaurants are near to you. simply the is the perfect hotel!! i recommend everyone to stay at that hotel without hesitating!

This modern hotel only a few blocks from Sagrada Familia cathedral was our base for a short pre-cruise stay in Barcelona.
The place was very clean and the rooms larger than expected, and we made good use of the free wifi. There are many good (not fancy or expensive) restaurants nearby and there was easy access to public transportation and the hop on hop off bus.
The front desk staff was very helpful.
All in all a good value, and we would stay again upon our return to Barcelona

Very modern hotel. Reception staff was very friendly. One day I've asked for a reservation at the Hard Rock Cafe and in the evening we had a handwritten text from the receptionist in our room. Very carefully!
Everywhere they promoted the "sun terrace", which should be open at 10.00. Maybe it was because we were there in January, but everytime we wanted to visit it, the terrace was closed. Too bad.

Walking distance to the subway station Sagrada Familia was about 10 minutes. Hotel surrounding looked more like a ghetto (shabby buildings, old facades, etc.). The first night it took us about 1 hour to find a good restaurant nearby. Many souvenir shops are close to the hotel.

Upon our arrival the receptionist didn't explain anything. As we asked where a nearby restaurant is -> in the inner city. Well. Apart from that, all the receptionists were very friendly.

Breakfast was included in our room rate. The buffet was quite rich, but the qualitiy was not that good. For coffee and orange juice there was a machine (self service). Quality okay.

The room was clean, but very small. More modern style, but nothing special. The TV only had Spanish channels, uninteresting for my boyfriend, because Barca TV was available :-) Mini bar and safety box are in the room.

I recommend to buy the Barcelona Card at the airport. You get a lot of discounts for sights and public transport is included.
Use the hop on hop off bus! Everything is well explained and the routes cover pretty much all of the main attractions. The best meal we had: definitely at the Hard Rock Cafe! Friendly service and very good food!
Icebarcelona right on the beach is an unique experience.
Restaurants on the beach promenade are very expensive, but you should go there at least once.

Good hotel, would have been 5 stars but the room was a bit small. Really good location only a couple of streets up from the sagrada familia which has a metro stop.
The breakfast is decent but was included in the price, not sure how much it would have cost seperately but was nice all the same.
Room had aircon, tv and fridge.

On arrival the 15/09/12 I was welcome by a very friendly young lady I found to be quite helpful as I had travel all day I asked if she knew of somewhere nice and also close to the hotel and in an average price range. She gave me an adress the food was not average by far but she scored 10 points for friendly and helpful. The breakfast I thought was great value the staff also friendly and helpful over all it was clean and what you paid for. The men on the desk could learn a few thinks from the young lady on the desk as they only scored a 4 and half out of 10.

Room Tip: Don,t get a room opposite young people drinking in there room all night.
