I've been in this hotel for over 10 days for Christmas. It is in a great location, on a side little street just off Las Ramblas, so for moving in Barcelona it was great. The hotel was averagely cleaned, we stayed in a room with three beds, very small for three people but for the price it was fine. The bathroom was clean as well. One bad thing was having the room by the street which meant (during night) hearing every single word anybody pronounced while walking along the street and the operators cleaning the roads. So the doors and windows didn't isolate as they should have.
Recommendable for the location.

Room Tip: I guess rooms not facing the street are quieter.

This modern, spartan hotel is a quiet and unusually friendly stopover. The glass, tile and gleaming wood grain reflect recent renovation which is both comfortable and sleek. The floor-to-ceiling automatic entrance doors lead you right into the maze of cobblestone streets of the old town which makes it an ideal location for this district. The rooms are small but nicely appointed---good for a few nights but not a long stay. The staff throughout the hotel make it special, however, as they are quick to help and eager to please. They were also refreshingly honest about bars, restaurants and places of interest. They didn't follow the Fodor's or Lonely Planet lines about where to go. The happy result was getting directed to unique spots. A much-appreciated extra.

Room Tip: try for a room with balcony

In Barcelona it is all about location. Just off Las Ramblas, easy walk to Plaza Catalunya. Right in the centre of the action and easy to hit the myriad of shops and other attractions. Our room was very modern and comfortable. Airconditioning worked a treat, lots of hot water, lovely towels. The bed was very comfortable and our room was not at all noisy. Cousin had a single room right next door which even had a little balcony. Both rooms were spotlessly clean. Free computer as well. Would highly recommend and would happily stay there again.

Couldn't put it in a better spot if you tried. Rooms are very clean and relatively new. We arrived at 8am having had no sleep and were able to check in early at 10am which was great. Very fast wifi for free and cold air conditioning. Would definitely stay again

Room Tip: Ask for one on the 4th floor or higher for less noise

The hotel is just off Catalunya Square so very convenient for all the sights, restaurants and shops in Barcelona. We opted for a room with a balcony, which is a definite must, there are some balconies that are smaller with no balcony furniture, the larger ones have two chairs and a glass table for those early morning coffees. I can't really fault the hotel on most things, it was very clean, towels were changed every day, the bed was comfortable and it was pleasantly decorated. There was a mini bar in the room but no tea or coffee making facilities. There were things that need improving, as with other reviewers, the doors automatically slam closed, which is very annoying and the internet was terrible. We were on the fourth floor, so not right at the top, all our devices would only stay connected while we were using them. by closing your phone or iPad, you were disconnecting from the internet at the same time. this was very annoying. Other than that, a great place to stay.

Room Tip: A large balcony room overlooking the street.
