Booked this hotel due to its location in the Eixample area. Hotel was modern and clean; and was 1 block from a metro (subway) stop. Booked a room with a queen bed. Room was somewhat spacious and clean. Bathroom was also nice with a large sink, but was pedestal, so no storage area. All floors in the hotel were solid floors, no carpeting.....so noise in the halls and rooms echoes. And walls were a bit thin as heard loud neighbors. Our "queen" bed was 2 full beds put side by side....was not very pleased with that. Several cafes were nearby for eats. We would stay here again.

Room tip: If you don't like street noise ask for interior room.

Very close to Urgell metro stop and just a short walk to the aerobus stop to get to el prat. No frills accommodation which is kept clean and tidy, just a little soulless and I would imagine it was something like a car showroom in a former life. Only complaint that I had was that they should invest in some decent pillows for the beds, otherwise ok. Don't expect too much at breakfast but was adequate.

I selected this hotel because of the good reviews. It really earns them. No complaints, for a 2 star hotel you get a 3+ hotel.
rooms and beds are comfy. We didn't get an outside window but it was no annoyance at all. Very practical and efficient place.

A very convenient location close to the metro and only couple stops from Las Ramblas. Rooms are neat and tidy and have good air conditioning for the summer heat and clean and spacious bathroom . Good customer service and Front desk was very helpful in anything that I ask for

Pros - very clean hotel, location close to the Aerobus stop so easy to get to and from the airport. Close to metro so it was easy to get to the main sites. Hotel is in a residential area away from tourists. BBC World News plays on the TV so a familiar channel for any Brits staying at the hotel. Breakfast was good and varied - fresh bread, cheeses, fruits and pastries. The woman at the desk who worked from the afternoon to evening was kind and helpful. The young man working in the breakfast area was also very attentive.

Cons - the air con was very bad so I would advise not to stay in the summer. We stayed when it was 28 degrees and we found it difficult to sleep and woke up sweating in the night. The air con only has three settings (1, 2, 3) and we could barely feel it on us. We spoke to the man who works at the desk from the morning to afternoon, he asked us (rather condescendingly) if we had been sleeping with the covers off, like it was our own fault we were hot at night. The view was not good - our window faced an interior courtyard where you could see other windows therefore you had to keep your curtain shut at all times to prevent other people from looking in. Rooms were quite small and simply furnished. We chose this hotel because the triple room offered an extra single bed rather than a sofa bed. However, the 'single' bed was more of a pull out bed with wheels on it. It was comfortable but not what we had paid for.
I believe the cleaning staff changed the sheets every other day as my sister transferred some makeup onto her pillow on the first night and the stain was still there the next day after the cleaners had been in the room. Basic amenities in the room were not topped up, such as soaps and tissue boxes. They also charge you 2 euros per locker to store your suitcases in after checkout.

Overall, the price of this hotel is too much for what they offer. I wanted to leave a comprehensive review as I was in two minds about this hotel based off the previous reviews I had read about this hotel. Do not stay here in the summer. Do not expect great service or a big room.
