“Great location and value for money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 8, 2013

Was surprised at just how clean and efficient the hotel and staff were. Luis te receptionist was really friendly. The location is really good too, just meters from Urgell metro station, and reasonable walking distance to La Ramblas. There are also plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby the hotel itself. Rooms were really clean although slightly small but you cant expect much more from a 2 star. Will book again if i return

The experience in your hotel was very good, with the exception of the porter is on duty at night, often rude, very uninformed on the same hotel amenities, unnecessarily authoritarian .... after the first impact, on our arrival about midnight, we decided to change the hotel, luckily, we met your courteous staff at the reception day.

Spent 3 nights here in may, location was excellent metro just round corner and so was the shuttle bus stop from airport, staff were really good recommended restaurants to eat on evening & couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was good continental & bacon etc, restaurant round the corner called zian has free wifi and was really good value for money so always ended up there. Rooms where good size very clean, only negative was on our last night the supermarket on the corner had a delivery at 1am which woke us up and went on for ages...not really hotels fault but not what you need when having to get up early to leave for the airport. Would definitely stay there again if returning to Barcelona due to it being just far enough from the main hub of the city that the prices where cheaper to eat and drink, beer was €2.50 by hotel and down by the main part you paying €6 a beer!

The hotel is modernized, clean and very well located. One block from the subway and the Aerobus, which takes you to the airport El Prat for about 6 euros. If you want to walk to the Rambla, it will be only 15 minutes.
However, the rooms are very small, tight, barely fit two adults with two bags. The only window that has gives access to an indoor room at the same level, then one can not open the window or someone will enter in your room.
And worst of all, the room has heating, but no air conditioning. And you can not turn off the heater. Even in winter, the room gets unbearably hot, we got to get sick. And as you can not open the window for direct access to a courtyard ... It was unbearable to sleep there.
Definitely not going back and would not recommend.

Stayed 3 nights. Great location. Room was large and super clean, sheets were soft and clean too. I was surprised it was only a 2* - Definitely could be upgraded to 3*.

Service from two members of staff was fantastic (an asian lady and a young man who was new) but the other reception staff let the hotel down by being unfriendly and unhelpful (two spanish men - one on the late night shift)

I've stayed in similar hotels in Barcelona for less money but overall it was a good hotel and I would definitely stay again.

My fiancé and I stayed 5 nights in Hotel del Comte. We had a double room (breakfast included + Free WiFI). This 2 star Hotel is defently worth it.
The Aerobus (5,90 euro one way) stoppend at Urgell Metro station, 50 meters from this hotel. It takes 20 minutes from the Airport to get there. From this station you can get too any part of the city. If you like to walk you can reach Plaça catalunya in 10 minutes.
Its a simple hotel but the staff is great. The rooms are clean and have a save.

Breakfast: scrabbled eggs, all kinds of meat. Fresh fruits, fresh juice and lots of sweet stuff.
Location: You can shop and eat/drink near this hotel. A place where you can eat for cheap is Quin Cafe.

We will go back to this Hotel.
