“Good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

We were not sure what to expect, and directions from the metro station were not too clear. Once we had found our bearings it was straight forward using the metro system etc. Good location to access Barcelona and 10 mins walk from Park Guell. We had booked a double and a twin room but on arrival we were told they had no double rooms. Not an overall problem, but a little frustrating when you don't get what you book. Rooms were very clean, and we were grateful for the air conditioning. Very quiet hotel not much noise from other guests. Breakfast was ok, the cooked stuff had obviously been around a while so scrambled eggs were a little rubbery! Plenty of toast/croissants etc. Staff were very helpful. Would consider staying there again.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed quiet.

Stayed here 12 july for 3 nights, don't waste money on taxis, so easy, pay €10.20 for a t10 ticket at the train station, get off the plane follow train signs get the train to passage de garcia, come off and find the metro (works exactly the same as London underground) Green line 3 get the metro 3 stops to lessepes, only takes 20 mins, a taxi will cost €25-30 and with the t10 you so have 8 more trips to use, come out lessepes metro and turn left you will see a big metal cube cross the road and go under it and follow the road past a small Park and the hotel is just there on the left. Everyone moaning about bfast, cleanliness and reception is rubbish, we got there at 11am said online We couldn't check in till 3 but they let us straight in, everyone during the day speaks perfect English and one girl got a map out and circled and drew Everywhere to go and how to get there, bfast was croissants, Ham cheese bacon sausage things toast jams coffee tea fruit yogurt cereals how people can moan is ridiculous!!! Rooms were nice and smart, cleaned when we wanted, nice shower, only problem was tv was rubbish but we were on holiday not a trip to my grandparents so we didn't care. Get back on the sub and go to catalunya and that's the main part, look for the upside down stairs on the corner of the square and that's las rambles. Enjoy!

I've stayed here multiple times. It's utilitarian. Rooms are clean, location is good for me, but it's not central. Staff are straight forward. If you get a room for 65 euros, it's worth it. Pricing depends on the season.

We have stayed in room 204 for 3 nights at the beginning of June. The room and bathroom were very clean, A/C working. You can get Wi-Fi if you want by paying at the reception a reasonable price. Breakfast was good and the stuff polite and helpful. The lady we met when we checked-in answered at all the questions about our city tour, thank you :) The location is very close to Guell Park and not far from Catalunya Square. And yes.. maybe a little noisy but hey, you are in Barcelona :)

The room was noisy (noises from the street, the corridor and from the connected rooms).
The breakfast was very simple.
The good points: cleanness and easy access to the city center(3 stops far from Catalonia Square).
Not recommendable!

This hotel is just a place to avoid: staff is unfriendly and discourteous (I was shocked about the way the lady was talking to me, really). Price rates were outrageously high for the MWC. The place is so noisy that I could not simply sleep the 2 nights I spent there, They assigned us a room (S01) which has 2 floors (promising indeed) but in reality the lower floor of the room is just a door behind the place where taxi parks (literally when you open the door you are just standing by the cars ...). I could not open the door to my bathroom as the lock system was totally broken. Finally Food was horrible.

At first glance the Ronda Lesseps looks like a small office building from the outside but once you get to the entrance and you walk past the the big sliding glass doors then you notice the service man greeting you and that's when you start feeling like your in a hotel. For the most part there are only 4 floors in the hotel so it's not a big hotel. Hotel Ronda does have a restaurant and bar area but they close that area down at 2:30 P.M.The room that I stayed in was on the 4th floor and the room as very spacious. The mattress was very comfortable and adequate for a good night's sleep. The bathroom was very spacious as well because of the over-sized sink that looked like you could fit a whale in it not to mention the big bath tube and the deep blue tile decor that the bathroom had. On the negative side the room did not have a mini fridge or any complimentary drinks or even bottles of water but it did have plenty of tv channels to choose from. The hotel does offer Continental breakfast service which means all you can drink coffee and all you can eat bread with butter plus some all you can drink watered down orange juice but I guess that's better then walking around Lesseps looking for a breakfast place early in the morning. I liked how when you walk out of the room the little hallway lights turn on like little flickering stars in the night. Hotel Ronda Lesseps seemed more like a couples getaway spot more than a family oriented hotel. By the way you will get charged 0.72 Euro cents per day and per person which I was told was a "tourist accommodation fee" whatever that means but overall the hotel is very clean and comfortable.

Room Tip: Rooms number #413 and #414 have their own little private entrances which make it seem more private a...
