Small room, only to have a rest after a long walk in the city. The bathroom is clean and renewed. We stayed 2 nights and went forward to Costa Brava, so as a transit hotel, it is perfect.
Unfortunately no breakfast, so without any meal service it is a bit expensive. I reccommand only for couples or friends and no for families.
Location is good, railwas station Saints is for 5 minutes walk.
Plaza Espagna 10 minutes walk.

Room is small and the wash rooms are also small. They have a very good shower and airconditioner in the room. No internet facility at the entire hotel. Hotel is very near to Barcelona Sants station. No food. They have some coffee vending machines. They are renovating the hotel. So, rooms seems to be very fresh. Had good sleep and great value for money.

This was in a great location and we stayed on the gound floor no.2 newly renovated.
But had damp in the walls and smelt a bit in the room - but overall it was great.
Very basic, no internet, but near all amenities. In fact I would say a bit pricey for what it was. Good service.

Room Tip: Great location

My first impression, on entering the single room of the hotel, was one of utter disbelief. It was just large enough to hold a small single bed, a wardrobe and a small chair - not an armchair. The attached toilet and bathtub were just adequate for mis-shapen dwarfs. It was one of the most basic hotels I had ever stayed in during my 50 years of travel.

The air-conditioning occasionally produced some very loud and most worrisome noises. Despite repeated complaints, the staff were unhelpful.Since the small and very old TV receiver did not respond to the remote unit, I complained about it. A man came over to check. He informed me that it could only be started by pressing the button on the receiver, and not remotely. That TV switch was almost a foot beyond my tip-toe reach. Result: No TV for 7 nights.

Thereafter, I did not even bother to complain - though there was a lot to complain about. The blanket had been cut and slashed by some previous disgrunted guest - and had not been replaced. Small patches of paint had pealed from the sidewall and ceiling. There were large black ants in the basin and toilet, though the room staff took care of them after the second day. There was no bath mat and not even a soap holder with the bathtub. The wardrobe door would not shut tight. It was a bare-bones hotel witrh the barest min9imum of facilities. It had also been difficult to locate on the first day.

Considering these points, and the fact that no breakfast was offered, The charge of Euro 54 a night was truly extortionate. GTA Travelport, through whom my travel agent had booked my hotel, owes to its customers to ensure that the hotels offered represent good value for money.

We were bit nervous after reading some negative rewiews, but we stayed 5 nights in clean brand new room (though wery small), with perfectly working AC, TV, window, very comfy bed... The bathroom looked new as well, absolutely clean, no traces of bad smell. We heard neibourghs once or twice as the walls are really thin, but we spent a minimum time there (as probably most people coming there). So if you want cheap accomodation to pass the nights, Transit Hotel is perfect choice.
