Just a wonderful. casual, complete, informal, well located boutique hotel located a few blocks from Plaza Cataluña off The Rambla. Walkable to the beach front, shopping and Dali's house. Staff almost too perfect ! Would definitely return.

Room Tip: I think they are all the same..............

We stayed at the Casa Camper for 4nights recently. We were very impressed with the hotel and all their employees that we came into contact with. The front desk was exceptional and very helpful with their recommendations for restaurants especially vegetarian ones. Their buffet breakfast was very scrumptious with a good variety and also made to order hot food. Their all day soups and sandwiches, coffee, tea and soft drinks was an excellent idea after a day full of of activity. The hotel's proximity to La Ramblas and the metro was a plus. We were impressed by the fact that everything was served in reusable glass containers exclusively. We would highly recommend this place and would certainly return there if we return to Barcelona in the future

Everything about this well located boutique hotel was wonderful. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They have a full breakfast and snack food and drink throughout the 24 hour day. I strongly recommend this little gem.

we stayed here for 6 days-3 of them with persistent heavy rain,so it was good that the bed was very comfy, the wifi worked well and the snacks were always on hand. it's cool, stylish, nicely warm. maybe its more suited to younger guests as the seating is low, hard and not for relaxing. oh for cushions! after getting cold and wet on the tourist bus i was dreaming of a long ,hot soaky bath to ease my creaky joints, but we only had a shower(albeit a very good one that came from all directions).. i only found out as we were going home that the suites have baths. yes the staff are very welcoming and ready to help.A special mention of the wonderful Paula 'Azul' in the kitchen who made our breakfast poached eggs into a work of art and served them up with the biggest smile . The snacks were better than expected-soup of the day at lunch, sandwiches, wraps ,little salads in glass jars, cheese, cake ,puddings, yoghurts, water ,juice .,coca cola. mixed nuts, tea, coffee(v good Tassimo machine) It was good to come 'home' after a meal out n have a decaff and a brandy from reception and if you were travelling on your own having a friendly person there plus other guests pottering round with their snacks would be reassuring. Location is excellent_i pulled my heavy suitcase from the Placa Catalunya, where the airport bus stops to the hotel no problem. incidentally don't waste money on a taxi as the aero buses are so good.A big Thanks to Stephanie who gave excellent customer care on our last day and really looked after us.

Room Tip: only suites have baths. we were on 3rd floor, which was perfect.

From all respects an outstanding experience. Our room looked out into a courtyard piled up with potted plants from the ground up. The King Suite gives you a separate room across the hall for lounging. We had them check into dinner reservations and when we couldn't get when/where we wanted they took out a book with a list of dining options within walking distance. We went to ORIGINALE, and had a great tavern dining experience. But just across the alley is a funky little bar run by the same family since the Fifties, if all you need is a nice drink at a non-tourist price check it out. A generous glass of VSOP Cognac is about 3Euro.

Room Tip: We faced south facing the wall of the plants and couldn't hear a thing. Check out the patio terr...

Yes, believe all of the positive comments that have been made in previous reviews. This hotel has it all...location, great food available 24/7, comfy and clean rooms, and most of all, wonderful staff. One front desk gentleman told me his goal was to exceed your expectations, and that is exactly what the staff at this hotel provided. I hope I have the pleasure of returning one day. Bravo Casa Camper!

As you can see, this hotel receives unbelievable reviews, and rightly so. The hotel is, quite simply, perfect. Location, excellent. Rooms, super clean, modern, well designed. 24 hour food...very cool. Staff..well this is what makes this hotel shine. Here is my tip. Do not waste your time obesessing over a guide book about Barcelona. Sure, enjoy reading all about the sights. But once you get to BCN, forger everything you read, and just go directly to the fron desk in the morning. Tell them how many days you will be in BCN, and you will be wowed by what happens next. They will pull out a map of the city, and their magical highlighter, and they will highlight the city for you...block by block. Including great restaurant recommendations. Who needs Rick Steves, when you have the staff at the Camper. Just stay there, you will not regret it. One more word of advise. The Tapas in Barcelona are amazing. We made the mistake of going to convetional restaurants the first day. BCN is know for it tapas, so get some places to go from the front desk, and enjoy. Just be warned that before 9pm, you will get in most everywhere. After 9pm, the wait commences. So go early, so to speak. Enjoy!
