We departed on a mediterranean cruise from Barcelona and came a day early to experience the city a bit. My husband and I were traveling with our 3 daughters, ages 15, 14 and 11. We all wished that we had stayed longer. Casa Camper was awesome!

Hotel staff arranged transportation from the airport for us and that was perfect. Our flight was delayed for a couple of hours, yet our driver was right there at the airport holding a sign with our name. Whew..

We had 2 rooms. The "lounge" room that came with each room was unique - and a great idea. Initially, we were a little unsure because the bedroom is on one side of the hallway and the lounge is across the hall but the he same key opens each door and our kids loved having their own spot to hang out. Each lounge room had a hammock, small couch, large TV and a window with a view. Each bedroom was very cool with a great shower area - very clean also (from a cleanliness standpoint, I loved that these rooms were not carpeted). If we had any doubts, we would have split up parents and children between the 2 bedrooms, but we felt very safe and secure. Parents stayed in one room and the kids in the other - each had our own lounge and it was a perfect setup!

The self-serve food and drink area off the main lobby was convenient and the food was delicious. There were small salads, unique sandwiches, desserts, yogurts, fruit, drinks and more that are available anytime. As our sleep schedules were off and we were trying to maximize our time in the city, this was ideal.

We loved being right off La Rambla. The staff was friendly and helpful. We received a call from them as we were boarding the cruise. They wanted to let us know that we had left some items there if we would like to come back and get them. It was only my daughter's shampoo and a couple of toiletries. Can't say enough about this hotel from our initial impression to our last!

One week in Casa Camper. We had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect. Friendly and good service. It was like coming home after a long day in the city. The nice bufe with sandwhich and espresso. The room was also very good and the bed gave us a good night sleep.
Will stay here next time in Barcelona.

We are on our third night at the Casa Camper as I write this review and we will be sad to leave tomorrow. From the moment we arrived (family of 4: 2 adults, 15 year old son and 18 year old daughter) we were thrilled to be here. The desk staff are so friendly and helpful. Genuinely nice people -- all of the them. The waiters, who also show you to your room, also genuinely friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and cool. Our favorite thing? The "shaker inspiration" PEGS that line the wall. Every hotel my husband and I stay in, we ask "why don't they just put up more hooks for hanging things?" We have probably 30 hooks and we couldn't be happier. Our kids favorite thing? The 24 access to delicious food, drinks, chips, bread, olive oil, cappuccino, cheese... the list goes on. It is so, so nice to have with teenagers. The kids also love the sitting room (separated by a hallway from the bedroom/bath). They each have their own "room" and love it. We (all) could not recommend this hotel more highly. OH! And the location is the BEST!

Room Tip: We stayed in standard rooms on the 4th floor. I can't speak for the suites. Our rooms were excep...

If you think you've experienced everything in terms of hotels, the Casa Camper will make you change your mind. Really very good, having a room accessory to the main room, where you can leave your luggage, use as a living room or meditation temple! Something very different is also the guest can find in the lobby at any time of day or night, from coffee, juices, yogurts, savory snacks and sweets that will vary each day. No matter if it is already built into the cost of daily ... you will not even remember it so good is that! Add to that an environment with clean and beautiful decor with a very efficient staff , always ready to serve the guests very well. The location on a quiet street less than 5 minutes from the Ramblas and the Plaza Catalunya, could not be better! Enjoy !

Depending on your taste this is either your dream or nightmare. None of the clinical opulence of large-chain "luxury" hotels, but impeccable design, clever ideas and a friendly "home-like" feeling. The location is superb, right next to the museum of contemporary art and near some great restaurants, but so is everything else. The concept of the "Tentempié", e.g. instead of a minibar there is a communal (free) kitchen to pick up salads, sandwiches and snacks, is great. The breakfast is just right as well, with great omelettes and good coffee. In the inner courtyard, the vertical garden never stops to wow. Small details like lounging in a hammock in your room are lovely. Definitely THE place I will stay in when I go to Barcelona again.

We have stayed at the Casa Camper a couple times and it has become a favorite. It is one of the coolest hotels I have experienced anywhere. Its location is excellent, on a very quiet side street just a block or two from all the activity on the Ramblas, and close to plenty of great shopping, great food, and the like. Everything in the hotel has been carefully thought out to be effective and appealing. The suites are very pleasant. One huge advantage is that there are snacks and soft drinks available to guests any time. This encourages one to keep drinking water, which is good for jet lag. (Also you can get tea or cola, which provide caffeine, also useful for jet lag.) The staff has been very friendly and helpful, beyond the call of duty. You can buy a bottle of wine or cava at quite reasonable prices, unlike the upcharges that many hotels impose. Several days it was great to get a nice bottle of cava and sit on the roof terrace, with a lovely afternoon view of the city and the surrounding mountains. There is also a small fitness center in the basement, which enables one to get a workout without having to run around the crowded streets. All in all, this is a great place to stay.

I love camper shoes so I was curious to see what kind of hotel they make. Basically it is like the shoes. good wuality, a bit quirky and very ¨"different". The location was good as it is in the heart of the city and I enjoyed the room and the ability to wake up and be in the middle of the town. Everything abou the hotel was nice - even the satff was very kind - something that can not be taken granted in spain. it will be great to come back - maybe I even visit their other hotel in berlin just for fun....
