In a city with such high culinary standards, on a short trip it's hard to know whether the places you choose and enjoy are just representative of that.
That said, we really couldn't have enjoyed this meal any more than we did. We tried a number of dishes from the tapas menu, the highlight being the unusual duck confit cannelloni and the wonderfully orange-scented crema catalana. It was all washed down with the house red which was excellent. The service was friendly, helpful, and swift. The bill was surprisingly small even by the standards of the other places we tried in the city.
