Description: Tarannà Restaurant opened in 2012 and soon became a benchmark at Sant Antoni's district of Barcelona. Healthy and tasty seasonal products, baked in the oven without using fats. We take care of every detail, good looking presentations and menu varies according to the season. Local customer and friendly atmosphere, open all day: ideal for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. It has a space for group meetings.

This tapas bar has a great atmosphere with small but busy surroundings. The waiters are very accomodating and the food is great. Very tasteful and of good quality. Would love to eat here again!

We came across Taranna whilst looking for another cafe - and were enchanted by the vibe Taranna had. From the friendly waitress who talked us through the specials to the delicious food (the cold pea and coconut milk soup was so tasty) this was a lovely place to be. The atmosphere was welcoming and the decor was laid back beautiful. I was really impressed.

We were drawn to this cafe because it reminded us of somewhere we would eat back home in Surry Hills. The food was amazing and fresh, can't believe how reasonably priced it was. Such a warm homely feeling in this cafe, and the service was second to none - the waitresses were all so friendly and gorgeous, couldn't help but sit around and drink more wine just to have a friendly chat with them. Will recommend this cafe to everybody I know visiting Barcelona, it was honestly like finding a gold mine!

This place was recommended by someone we rented an apartment from in the poble sec area of Barcelona. Wow, we were blown away. It is a 'cafe' with a tiny open kitchen that's visible to the restaurant. We went for one night then returned for 3 of the 7 nights we were in Barcelona it was that good!! The food was super fresh, simple and delicious - this is not fine dining but it is fabulous. We loved the salads, for example anchovy, green olive, fennel and orange salad. The waiter and waitress were lovely - the friendliest we came across, the service was great and the prices were very reasonable. 15e per head got a shared starter and dessert, 2 mains and 2 drinks per person. The place is v small, perhaps fitting 20 people inside and a further 10 outside. Each time we went we were the only tourists there, the rest were locals enjoying dinner with friends. We were debating whether or not to do a review so we could keep it our 'secret' but thought that it was only fair that we share. Go here, enjoy a great restaurant and an even better meal, 5 stars from us!!!

I've been twice to Taranna and there's always a homey feeling. Always open and willing to host thirsty and hungry walkers, groups of friends, people working on their laptops or reading or just looking out of the window or meeting friends. This whole of Parlament street, just three blocks long, is Barcelona's well kept secret and Taranna is an anchor!
