We are a group of 24 people and we did our Barcelona City and Gaudi Walking Tours (2 tours) with Patrick.

He is excellent. With a master degree in Barcelona History, he knows his stuff down to details (years, names etc). He gives us context on how Barcelona evolved from Roman time to Gaudi.

We also have better understanding of Gaudi's masterpiece (Sagrada Familia) and what each facade represents.

I suggest anyone to hire Patrick as it gives your Barcelona trip more memorable.

He is the best tour guide!
Explained everything and added humor to all the stories but very knowledgeable and fun considered it was a free tour!
I recommend him.

Our family LOVED the free walking tour with Leon! He was very informative on Barcelona history and culture. Great recommendations of places to eat afterwards. Our 10 year old daughter said he reminded her of “a hyperactive squirrel hyped up on Red Bull” (smr). We would recommend Leon for any and all tours through Barcelona. Wish we could keep him in our back packet to travel with us everywhere. Thank you so much Leon!!

Last week we had an exceptionally informative and fun walking tour through Barcelona.
Leon was very knowledgeable, animated, and clearly excited about living in Barcelona and it's history. We learned a lot and came to appreciate the city's beauty, turmoil and struggles over the ages. Our tour group was just the right size. I loved how we stopped along the way for some tapas and a pint. The website was easy to use, with quick and detailed responses. And when we return to Barcelona in the future we would love to try some of the other exciting walks Leon described. We would highly recommend Leon as a tour guide in Barcelona and Sandeman's New Europe!

We had the fortune to get Leon as our guide on one of the Free Walking Tours through Sandemans New Europe Barcelona, and we could not have been more pleased. Leon was a wealth of information and not your typical guide who just bores you with dates. He was able to really explain the history of Barcelona and how it all tied together. Leon is fast paced (yay!), quirky and far from boring. His language is a bit colorful and we really liked that about him! Our group was fairly small, and Leon allowed us to make it OUR tour - so we asked him every off the wall question we could come up with and did our best to stump him but we weren't able to. Leon gave us a longer tour and we loved it.

We definitely recommend wearing good walking shoes since you will walk all over the place. In January, it is cold so be sure to bundle up. But the free walking tour and Leon in particular are definitely worth it!
