We have travelled all over the world, but this was as good as it gets. We had 6 small inspired dishes. Not Spanish at all, just great selection of flavours. Ingredients were fresh and the service was friendly and prompt.
I really want to take this place back to Australia with us.

This place was recommended by the owner of our hostel. Its a bit hidden but very easy to find with a map (walking distance of Diagonal metro station, parallel street of Pg de Gracia, close to crossing of Pg de Gracia and Av Diagonal).

The interior is modern but cosy with chairs and small sofas. The kitchen is half open so you can actually see what is going on there. The overall atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet with nice music in the background.

The menu seems to change from time to time. We couldnt find all the dishes that were recommended in older reviews which was of course not a problem.

We ordered 7 dishes, some vegetarian, some containing meat. Our favourite was the risotto with quail- really creamy and with a rich taste. Another outstanding one was an eggplant dish with roasted onions and a light sauce. We also had fried vegetables with a typical catalan red sauce. Although it was fried it wasnt fatty at all.

Altogether every single dish was fantastic and we would come back at any time.

We highly recommend this restaurant and hope that they have a successful future!

5 stars well gained! This little restaurant may be a bit hidden, but if you manage to find it, you will be pleased. The atmosphere is simple and cozy, with sofas to make you feel comfortable. The dishes are simply awesome, and believe me that whatever you take it is going to be delicious. You'll want to try them all!

5 stelle ben meritate! Vorrete provarli tutti!

This small, quiet tapas restaurant is unusual in a couple of ways; the first is that you will have the option of sitting at a table, or on a limited number of sofas...; the second is that the tapas they serve are innovative and quite superb.
I liked how they brought each of the tapas dishes ordered as "separate courses" to the table so that the temperature of each was just right and the dish hadn't cooled by the time you got around to it. The separations also brought focus into each of the servings without distraction.
I tried the vegetable wok, the sushi, the chicken mandoguilla and the cod with alioli and spinach. All were surprising, unique, and exquisitely prepared and presented. I sampled my friend's steak tartar - I don't normally eat red meat - which was superbly textured and spiced.
We were all sated with what we had experienced and did not sample the cheese or dessert possibilities. There will have to be a return visit, and soon.
Prices were normal for tapas, but the offerings were truly an order of magnitude above the norm.
What a gem! This out-of-the-way restaurant has been open only a few months, so get there before the rest of the world finds out about it and their prices jump! (I have been telling all my friends..., and why am I reporting this to Trip Advisor? ;-)
