“Wooden walkway”
Reviewed April 27, 2013

The Rambla del Mar is a walkway connecting the bottom of the Rambla with the Moll d'Espanya, where you will find the Maremagnum shopping center, Imax cinema, aquarium and plenty of boats as well as the cable car overhead. The promenade is a place to relax, wander about at leisure.

“interesting bridge”
Reviewed March 18, 2013

This is an interesting structure that allows one to walk out to a mall. It is not the destination but the journey which is a chance to look at some of the marina or to get to the Imax / aquarium which are located on the far side of the mall. It could use signage or a map to let tourist know that it is a closed loop and that it is not possible to reach Barcelona beach by walking out this way. Being March the usual street venders were missing making it a pleasant stroll.

“A gorgeous walk with lots to do!”
Reviewed May 13, 2008

We walked down by the water area of town and were treated to wonderful waterside cafes and bars. The restaurants can be expensive-we spent 200 euro for a late lunch with a bottle of cava (Spanish champagne) appetizers and seafood paella. Although they should be used to tourists, the service staff don't always speak english or act like they want to. There is a cable car like set up down here too and we rode it all the way up to the Olympic Villiage, which was ok for me, more exciting for my husband.
Don't forget about this part of Barcelona-we saw lots of locals-not as many tourists.
