We found out about Llamber while reading a review in the local Time Out.
One of the main advantage of the place is that it is open until late at night, serving food at any time of the day.
The restaurant has a fancy design, with an industrial touch.
We ate twice there and the only regret I had was that we never succeded to get there in time for the lunch menu, which looked very promising. The food is modern and does not come in large portions, however the taste beats everything.
We ate calamars with wild mushrooms, baked octopus with potatoes and smoked cheese, marinated tuna and also a delicious salmon carpaccio, accompanied with a very good, not to expensive white wine (Colours).
Meal price (with wine) - 80 EUR/ 2 persons.
The staff was very open and attentive, they recognized us at our second visit.
Very good culinary experience in Barcelona, strongly recommended.

After 15 days of touring between Paris, Marseille and Cannes, and after spending a lot of money on average food, we gladly ended up in Barcelona and got a chance to dine in this restaurant. I am a very picky person, and I almost hit anorexia in France. When we first got to Llamber, the waitress was super friendly and told us that 4 to 5 portions would be enough for 2 people. Well, she was right but we were enjoying food too much that we ordered 8 portions. I was sooo full but I also couldn't resist and had to order dessert. It was simply phenomenal! If you are in Barcelona, you should definitely try it and don't forget to order the salmon with ginger ice cream and for dessert the hot bread with rosemary ice cream. Enjoy it!

We ate hear one night on the recommendation of our hotel. We had passed it a coiuple of times and it was always busy. We visited on a Saturday with no reservation and were asked to enjoy a drink at the bar, while a table came free- only 15 minutes. A great choice of wines served by the glass.
Food was well presented, with an excellent choice of tapas with a modern twist. Not cheap cost circa €80 for 2, including several glasses of wine! Highly recommended and would suggest making reservation beforehand.

We ate here twice during our stay in Barcelona. The first time there were no tables in the main part of the restaurants but the staff encouraged us to sit in the bar area and we had waiter service there.

The menu of tapas was amazing, each item was so well presented and provided taste sensations we really enjoyed. The restaurant has a wine list of 150 different bottled wines and also served 30 wines by the glass. We chose to drink wine by the glass and when I asked for recommendations the waiter asked what I likes and then brought two wines for me to taste so that I could choose.

As each dish was brought to the table, the waiting staff gave tips on eating to get the best of it. For example the cheese plate had three mild cheeses and three strong ones, if the waitress had not suggested the best order to eat them in we would not have been able to get the full taste of the mild ones.

On our second visit we had booked a table and we were warmly welcomed by the staff who recognised us for a couple of days before.

Everything that we has was good and the tomato bread was the best we had tasted in Barcelona.
Don't miss the deserts, they were a delightful surprise.
