We were a party of 5 adults. We all selected the 25 Euro menu complete with starter, plato principal, dessert ,wine and coffee! An old world tradition in a a stylish and artfully decorated space.
The entire staff is over the top friendly and supremely accommodating up to the tiniest request or detail. We were treated to a glass of Cava to begin which was accompanied by toasty bread with freshly roasted garlic and tomatoes.
We ordered mussels, grilled octopus and grilled asparagus for starters. Please please don't miss the "pulpo", or octopus which arrives on a bed of spanish style potatoes.
We were offered bottles of red and white wine for the table ..a nice touch which gives one the feeling of dining at a friend's home.
The entrees were beautifully prepared and delicious. I had the filet of sole with juilienne vegetables and had the opportunity to sample the divine sea bass.
Dessert , although we were entirely too full, was a sin to pass up. So we didn't..
The crema de Catalunya( cross between flan and creme brulee) and lemon sorbet with a sprig of mint and fresh berries! nom nom!
We finished with espresso and huge smiles all the way around the table!
Just go.....beautiful neighborhood, wonderful staff and attentive owner....GREAT food!
