After much research prior to our trip to Barcelona we decided that we MUST eat at Tacon Rojo based on the fantastic reviews it received. The restaurant itself is a little tricky to find but with the help of a nearby shop owner we found our destination and our amazing dining experience began.
We were greeted by Luis and the owner Mo who would be our hosts, waiter and entertainment for the evening. The restaurant itself was quaint with a small bar and a well stocked wine cellar with a variety of very nice wines. The personal attention we received from Luis was exceptional, from the sampling of wines to a explanation of the entire menu.
The tapas was incredible and very different from the other restaurants we had eaten at while in Barcelona....you won’t find any deep fried food here. This was hands down the best tapas we had in Barcelona.
If you want an exceptional dining experience I highly recommend you pay a visit to Tacon Rojo you won't be disappointed.
