This was my favorite part of the trip. Our last meal in Barcelona was exceptional, relaxing, delicious and so warm and welcoming. When we walked in, they thought our reservation was for 8 people, but it was really for 11 people (at 8:00). After a moment of surprise, he said, absolutely no problem, reset the table and very warmly welcomed us with information about the traditional Catalan dishes and picked out some wonderful wine for us. We had 5 kids/teens and 6 adults and there was something for everyone, even my pickiest eater. The amazing part was that this was Christmas holiday and, as it's a family restaurant, they had sent most of the help home for the holiday. It was just the owner waiting tables and the chef preparing the food (and occasionally serving when needed!) The food was the best food we'd had in Barcelona by far.
The Caneloni was amazing, stuffed with roasted red pepper and egg plant (which I didn't think I liked) and a traditional beef dish that I cannot remember the name of but was slow cooked over 3 hours in a red wine mushroom sauce. Oh my goodness, so good. The service, despite being super busy, was relaxed, efficient, and again, some of the best we'd had during the trip. I can't say it enough. Go...to...this ...restaurant. Oh, and the price was very, very affordable.

This restaurant was found on tripadvisor and it resulted to be a very good choice. Very close to the Sagrada Familia, it is perfect for a lunch or dinner with good local food. The staff is super nice and will assist and recommend you with the best and most fresh dishes, eventually explaining their story and cooking technique. Very nice and definitely worth going again.

This place was quite an amazing find. The owner was very nice and attentive to us.

We had the cannelloni , fricando and mushroom special. The drinks were quite cheap as well! The fricando and mushrooms were quite amazing and we thought the cannelloni lost out to them, but it was in no way bad.

Owner then gave us a homemade limoncello on the house after we made payment. We thought this was a very very nice gesture to round off our meal.

Would come back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here; a good selection of well cooked food at reasonable prices. We really appreciated the complementary glasses of home made limoncello served with the bill. We would have liked to have returned here for an evening meal but sadly ran out of time.

really enjoyed the food and hospitality. Opened earlier than many of the local restaurants which was a plus since we were on a tour and up early each day. Enjoyed Pizza and a specialty stuffed pasta of the day. Chocolate mouse to die for. Enjoyed a bottle of recommended wine also. Offered a Limoncello on the house, also home made. Sorry we did not have time for a second meal.
