A group of four of us stayed at the Fuster Apartments over Easter weekend 2014 for three nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything was perfect! The location was fantastic and the apartment had a great Spanish feel to it and was really comfortable and homely. Will definitely be staying again when we return to Barcelona. The lady who met us at the apartments to check us in was extremely helpful and friendly. Great place!

We (my husband, and my 18 month old daughter) were met by the manager of the building when we rang the door. He was super nice and let us check in early which was nice since we arrived early. He showed us around along with the building manager who showed us how things worked in the apartment and gave us tips and recommendations to eat/visit. The minute they showed us our apartment (41i) we were awed by the beautiful architecture ~ the crown molding, exposed brick, beautiful Spanish mosaic tile work, and marble features ~ as well as the modern features of the bathroom and lighting. The kitchen contained everything you would need to make a meal for yourself and family (pots, pans, plates, bowls, forks, knives, drinking glasses, wine glasses, cutting board, etc.). We were greeted with a platter of cookies, full size fridge/freezer with soda, water, beer, and milk. Inside there is a master bathroom and bathroom (no bathtub, amenities, and blow dryer) that has a walk in closet to store your clothes. There you'll an iron, ironing board, and a rack to hang up wet clothes. A washing machine is located in the kitchen. The second bedroom had twin beds where we put our pack n' play in for our daughter who slept well and was located in the hallway. You can section off the hallway and the living room with the double doors which was nice to block out any noise or light. The living room has a television and a stereo. The dining area was full of light and airy when you opened the windows. We faced the other terraces (not street facing) so it was nice and quiet at night. There are lots of little grocery stores around and there are a couple of supermarkets that are close by to get cow's milk and food for our daughter. About two or three blocks away, we discovered a playground for her to play at. The apartments are centrally located and were not far from the major sites. We loved this place and would definitely come back. It was definitely roomy and we had lots of space for our daughter to run around in. We would definitely stay here again. Great place!

We were delighted when we reached this destination. The apartment was huge for myself and my husband, and spotlessly clean.
It was well furnished and decorated and the kitchen contained everything one might need.
The mosaic floors were beautiful and the ceilings unusual and very attractive. We were met promptly on our arrival as promised and shown to our apartment on the fourth floor.
It was so well located for sightseeing in the area and near to the Metro for travelling further afield. Plenty of bakeries and handy shops nearby too.
There was some traffic noise, but we were in a city and it is to be expected so we weren't put off by that.
Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Maybe choose a higher floor if possible to lessen road noise?

Ten minutes away from Paseo de Gracia and Sagrada Familia, by walk.Nice residential block, plenty of bars, bakeries and superettes. Not to forget a good take away PollBo. Very central location to reach out all the hot spots in Barcelona. The apartment we stayed in from Wednesday 21 To Sunday 25 was nicely finished, clean, well equipped and large to satisfy a family of 3.
Strongly recommended.

Our family of 4 (mom, dad, 17, 20) stayed here for three nights at the end of July 2013. We were in apartment 2.1i. We called Luis Fuster as instructed when we arrived at the train station from Madrid. He met us there. Very nice gentleman. He checked things out in the apartment to make sure we knew how to work everything and gave us maps marked with where the apartment was and the nearest metro stations. (We found the Verdaguer station easer to get to than the Girona one.) We did a lot of walking and use the metro for long trips. You will need to give Luis a 200 Euro security deposit in CASH which is returned in cash at checkout. The balance of your rent can be payed by credit card with a machine he has that it just like those used in European restaurants. We had a 7:30 am train to catch the day we left so he came at 8 pm the night before and checked us out and returned the deposit. He took one set of keys at that time and had us leave the other in the apartment when we left. You get two sets of keys. Don't lock both in the apartment or they will need to get a locksmith to get it open which you of course will have to pay for. This is easily prevented by putting each set on a lanyard and looping them around your neck or belt.

Ours was an interior apartment that faced the courtyard. No balcony or view of the street which was fine with us as we left by 10 am and did not come back until after midnight. There were two bedrooms and two baths with showers. Master had its own bath and a king size bed. The other bedroom had three single beds one of which could be sectioned off from the other two by a sliding door. This bedroom had no windows. Nice living room with beautiful floor. Had a TV, good free WIFI, and was well furnished. There was a separate dining area. The kitchen was nice though we didn't cook while there. There is a small front loading washing machine in the kitchen. We brought Tide HE detergent capsules with us to use. Worked great. There is no dryer. There are clothes lines out the window of the master bedroom. Clothes pins provided. As this was halfway through our trip we did 4 loads in 3 days. The neighborhood is not very far from Sagrada Familia. There is a friendly grocery just across the street that has fresh fruit and well as wine, beer etc... Many bakeries, cafes and restaurants nearby. Ask Luis for suggestions. We loved the place and would highly recommend it especially for a family with kids.

Good size. High standard of decor. Spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Fantastic location, short walk to Metro. Lots of bars and cafés nearby. Shutters and aircon were fantastic in the 34 degree heat.

I could not recommend Fuster Apartments highly enough.
The apartment was magic - a lovely, well thought out lounge area, a good kitchen, lovely main bedroom and a nice verandah with a view. Plenty of space to relax and unwind after a day of sight seeing. Both bedrooms had proper wardrobes with shelves (almost unheard of).

It is the sort of apartment that you can immediately feel at home in... Lots of towels, toilet paper, some teabags, condiments, cooking oil etc..... Really well set up and not scrimped.

It felt really good to come "home" to the apartment. The apartment combines original features with good quality modern fittings.... Fantastic original floor tiles and fanciful ceilings.

The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. When we checked in, Luis had a map of the area, advice on the areas of the city and general advice about getting around. My husband left his wallet in a taxi as we were checking out and Clara could not have done more to assist... When the driver brought the wallet back, Eduardo immediately phoned us..... Amazing service.

Location wise, it is only a couple of blocks to Gaudis cathedral and an easy walk to the main shopping streets. There are some excellent tapas bars really close, and the expansive fresh food and flower market is only a block away. There is also a little supermarket directly across the street.
