Description: Pudding Family LTD. is based in Barcelona and founded by one single owner. By the philosophy of Eat + Play + Think Pudding is defined as being the new Generation of Coffee Shops oriented towards families and children. It operates in a very different way from traditional coffee shops. Pudding was created with the concept of providing three different and complementary services in a single location that finds a strong response from its customers. The founder has a literary academic background that allowed her to bring to the business the savoir - faire and quality of creating workshops for children in conjunction with the UNESCO program. Her passion for food, her quirky sense of style and the energy to think out of the box have set the basis for Pudding’s unique business model. Pudding is Eat+Play+Think: it is the New Generation of Coffee shop though and build to create an environment full of opportunities to family, kids and to people with interest. Pudding offers 3 major services in an single creative space: Pudding Eat is full of taste with its home bake natural pies and cakes without forgetting the best brunch in town. Pudding Play creates authentic birthdays parties where mind, fun and theme scenery meets together. Pudding Think is just made to give kids' mind knowledge and interest.

Following this trend of american-style bakeries and cupcakes places. Pudding has her plus in the lovely environment, the exquisite dehor which makes it a great place to have a break in a one-of-a-kind environment.

Lovely decor, comfortable seats, fast Internet connection. The best is what they serve, lots of cakes, my favorite is carrot cakes with big chunks of walnuts and they serve big portion of it too.

We love to lounge around here for dessert after lunch or to rest after a long walk.

The service is not that great, the same old Spanish service and not the 5 star service like in the states.

It is all about the decoration. Our two teenage girls were completely taken by it (rare to see:)). The breakfast choice itself is not so great beside weekends when various brunch options are offered. Next time I would rather come in the afternoon for a coffee and a cake. Nice area for little children to play.

Pudding is a small cafe but it has bags of character and charm. The decor reminded us of 'Alice in Wonderland', with the circus tent stripy ceiling, books and giant mushrooms. It was a bit mad but we loved the food. We went there for breakfast on two mornings. One of our breakfasts included cereal, yoghurt, a huge bowl of chopped fruit, coffee and juice for four Euros. Bargain! On the second morning we ordered smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels which were also good but came with an enormous rocket salad which was almost excessive and we couldnt' finish it. Overall though, this cafe is quirky and fun and I would recommend it.

We went into this restaurant and felt really unwelcome from the get go. I'm not even the sensitive type- I understand that places get busy and not everyone can be given star treatment. However, the servers were so unfriendly and the coffee and tea were painfully mediocre and costly. Cute decor, but there are far better places in Barcelona that give good service and better prices.
