I stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel is basic but lovely, clean warm & quiet. When we arrived we were greeted by a very helpful man who checked us in. He explained how the hotel worked & the best ways around the city & where to go.

The location was great, 5 min walk to placa Catalunya & las Rambla. Its also right on placa universatait,

I would recommend this hotel wanting to visit Barcelona on a budget. I will be visiting again. I enjoyed my time here very much it def added to my overall experience.

This is absolutely great for a 2 star hotel. Of course you should nor expect a hotel with lobby because this hotel is actually the first floor of a building which the reception is located in the corridors. The location is great, rooms and baths are clean, free coffee and tea available in the corridors, refrigerator also there, good wi-fi quality and most important of them all is great guys in the reception. Elvira is really helpful always ready to answer all your questions and give you the most exact information on everything and if she dosen't know she would check and email you everything. Thanks should go to Joey who introduced a great restaurant and planned a half day for us in Barcelona. This hotel only needs a microwave in the corridors and some sound proof doors because now the main problem is some noises from the outside.Location is also great only 2 minutes of walk from the metro station and 7 minutes to Catalonia Sq. All the days they changed our towels but not the bedsheets and when we told them they rapidly arranged everything.

The staff were the best! My husband had called ahead to have a flower arrangement in our room, because it was our 3rd wedding anniversary. The receptionist brought us two glasses and a bottle of cava. We had a beautiful time.

We asked the receptionist for suggestions on where to go, what to see, etc. She gave us a map, carefully circled on the map a number of restaurants to try, places to visit...and then, verbally explained the options. Not only was it super helpful, the whole time we were having a lovely conversation. When traveling, there's nothing better than getting pointers from a local. This truly was a feature that made this small, almost nondescript hotel remarkable and memorable.

The physical part of the hotel was nice and basic. There's a communal kitchenette with a fridge, hot tea, instant coffee. The location was great. I really liked the balcony opening onto the Gran Via. The room was small but clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The bathroom had a modern and efficient interior...again, very clean.

We followed the given instruction to get there from the airport and it was quite easy. The hotel appeared to occupy one floor of a condominium building. It's not an unusual thing in many cities. One just has to look for it as if looking for someone's apartment; its not the kind of hotel with an awning over the entrance and doormen opening doors, etc.

Great location - nice area with lovely architecture. Felt very safe. Lots of nice places to eat. 2 min walk from Metro and walking distance from several sights. Hotel itself was very comfortable, clean, warm, and with good facilities. Lovely thoughtful owner who was a mine of useful information. Can't fault it.

Room Tip: I was at the front with a balcony and a great street view, but no noise as there were double French doors.
