Stayed at the Hotel Indigo on the 9 th 10 th and 11th of Jan 2020.

The staff at the reception was ever so welcoming. Estafania and her fellow Male colleague,(sorry can't remember his name) was ever so helpful. They checked us in. Helped us with all our enquiries about touring ect.

A special thanks goes out to Toni the waiter. He was amazing. An absolute asset to the hotel. Once again ever welcoming and nothing was a problem. Marcello was also very welcoming.

The staff even went the extra mile to bring a slice of birthday cake with candles to my room.... Toni the waiter sang for me as well. Thank you!!!

I would, without a doubt recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. The Hotel is centrally situated and more importantly, the hotel staff help with making your stay a pleasant one.

We stayed on Level 2 of this wonderful hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Service was outstanding, and we were thankful for great room service when neighboring restaurants were closed for the holiday! The room was spacious and the bath amenities were fantastic. I cannot thank the staff enough for a wonderful and accommodating stay!

We were stayed in this hotel 2 rooms 3 nights, and we stayed in executive rooms. From the first day we already disappointed with this hotel, which is no standard at all, housekeeping never check the fridge which is the previous client's leftover chocolate in the fridge. Second day, never housekeeping one of the room till we back to hotel around 6pm, and one of the receptionist given us very "good" comment:
- are you keeping the do not disturb sign, that's why we never clean your room? And we replied "NO"
- we are fully booked yesterday maybe housekeeping very busy till now,haven't got the chance to clean up your room, but we can ask them to clean your room now.
And we are speechless, she is not even apologise and finding some excuses which we really don't like and we have to wait at lobby till they finished cleaning, really wasted our time.

Regardless the breakfast, it is quite boring, everyday the same, not even change something.

We stayed in 4 floor, internet damn poor, can't even access gmail.

So, overall we not satisfied with this hotel. Never come back!!

Dear Venuslowly,

As the Marketing & Communication manager of Indigo Barcelona hotel I have to say that it is reportable to the authorities to publish a photograph of one of our workers. As you can see, of course, it has been removed from its comment when it was denounced in accordance with the data protection law (Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and guarantee of digital rights.)

On the other hand, after checking your case, our housekeeping tells us that the only day your room was not cleaned was because it was the "do not disturb" sign. We believe that it is not necessary to publish photographs manipulated by you putting chocolate in the fridge or undoing the bed. (Our travelers are too clever to know that our hotel, a hotel of our category, of the IHG chain with its high quality standards, cannot allow this type of carelessness with cleanliness.

Truly, It is a pity that we could not meet your expectations since we work hard and do our best to offer unforgettable stays.

The Hotel Indigo is a nice boutique property in Eixample with easy access to both the Old City and La Gracia. You're also steps from Casa Mila and Casa Battlo, two of the popular Gaudi structures in the area. The location and value (I paid $107 USD for one night in the off-season) were the selling points.

I was well received as an IHG member and received an upgrade to a deluxe room. Rooms are small and cozy, but I really liked the bright colors and aesthetic. The in-room amenities are also excellent, as the water, coffee, tea, and juice are all complimentary. I appreciated that the in-room coffee was a machine and not instant.

I had a drink in the evening at the bar, but with a limited time in Barcelona, I opted to try a different spot instead of the DOQ restaurant for either breakfast or dinner. Overall, it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Room tip: Rooms and beds are small. Ask for a queen bed if a double won't cut it for you.

We booked for three nights, loved it so much that we added another night to our stay. Everybody is great, their service is amazing and yes.. the breakfast is totally worth it. It is the same pretty much every day, but they have a wide variety of food.
Room size was above average for Europe, comfortable bed.
Walking distance from pretty much everything.. and if you want to take a Day Trip to Figueres or Girona, the train station Passeig de Gracia is just a couple of blocks away.
Also coming from the airport, we took the Aerobus, which leaves you at Plaza Catalunya, just 3 or 4 blocks from the hotel.
They have a business center, where we were able to print our tickets for the Sagrada Familia without issues. Oh! and we got there at 10 am and our room was ready and they let us check in early. Just because of that I knew this place was not going to dissapoint. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Barcelona.
