We chose the Alsur Café for an early dinner prior to a performance at the Palau de la Musica Catalanya, which is across the small street from the restaurant. We happened to be there on the night that Barcelona FC was playing Real Madrid in futbol, so the atmosphere was very “spirited”. The service was very attentive despite the crowd and the food and drink were very good. This is a fun place for a nice meal.

Just randomly walked in this cafe - saw a €3.50 mojito on the menu. Didn't expect much for this price, but it was really good!! It also has a nice atmosphere which would suit anyone - be it a couple of lovers or a bunch of friends. I've also spotted interesting coffees on the menu, but didn't have time to try.

We strayed in for a drink and were pleasantly surprised by the range of good value cocktails and mocktails on offer. An additional bonus was the cookies we bought for breakfast the following morning. Definitely a nice 'local' bar to have nearby.

This is a small bar located opposite "Palau de la Musica", it's great to sip mojitos in their very cosy lounge at the back. They offer a nice selection of tapas and the staff are very friendly. I recommend their empanadas and the lemon pie is to die for.
