“" Very Good."”
Reviewed March 4, 2013

It was very great place, location is very good in the city, and the atmosphere is very friendly. The room was clean, the bunk-bed was comfortable- because its from IKEA like many things in this hostel, where I work haha :). They have a nice kitchen, where we found many great things on a free-to-take shelf- when we were looking for spices, salt etc. And the breakfast was very abundant, even for me ( I'm vegan), everybody could taste that special Catalan breakfast with tomato. The only problem is that the bigger rooms have a very noisy, old door, what you cannot slide silently, you cannot enter the room silently because of that stupid sliding door squeaking.

I stayed for one night at a mixed dorm on the 1st floor (reception floor). Excellent location, clean and spacious rooms with key card access, big lockers in the room (bring your own padlock), good wi-fi reception (tho I had a hard time trying to change the settings on my mobile in order to connect, which had never happened to me before). Not a hostel party - take it either way.

Toilets are clean, there's a female shower room on the 2nd floor and even if you stay on the 1st floor you can use it (ask for the key card at reception). Heating in the room was a bit too hot at night, but better hot than cold during winter. There's an air conditioner as well.
Free breakfast is quite OK: bread (white and whole) to toast, jam, butter, cheese, ham, fruit (banana, apple, orange) tea, coffee, milk, juice (not natural tho).
Tried to use the computer but it wasn't working at the time. You have to pay to use it (about €1,00 / 10 min)

Staff were very nice and helpful. Great hostel, great value for money.

It was located right in the middle of everything and very close to the metro. They staff and everyone staying at the hostel was SO nice, and all very helpful. The place was clean, had nice facilities, and a great value for what I paid. They even have a kitchen so you can buy food and cook it there instead of spending more money. Overall it was a great deal.

Room Tip: The rooms without windows are a lot quieter because they aren't on the street. Being in the chea...

It was really a great place to stay. I was in a private room, really nice room, it was ready when I got in before check in time and they let me in, loved that. The bathrooms were always being cleaned and the water pressure and temperature were great.
Also, very well located, with easy access to a lot of places walking and also close to a very central metro station.
I recommend it for everyone.

Room Tip: The private room has a lot of space. I think the rooms in the second floor are quieter.

Great Location, beeeeeeautiful place, kind staff, super clean and a fair price!
The only complain is that on Sundays breakfast there's no "tomato on bread", which is just purrrrrrfect!

Oh! One more thing. Be careful then taking a shower, the floor can be quite slippery. :)

Room Tip: I booked a room for 3 persons, which was great a great idea as we had a big room for ourselves for a...

I would repeat what has been said about this wonderful hostel. It is really the best place to stay with a reasonable price and and wonderful reception. I am happy I had the chance to spend some time there.
