What a wonderful surprise! Perfectly located on the Ramblas, this place was perfect to bring guests coming from outside of Spain. The chef was so nice and made everybody feel comfortable, even those who had no cooking skills at all.
The kitchen was so clean and was kept tidy and clean all the time. Everybody was included in the cooking and was participating. The chef also gave us really great cooking tips all the time, things that I had no idea about and that I could use at home.
The food was magnificent. The ingredients were fresh (bought from the nearby market) and every single plate was SO tasty and beautifully presented.
I can really recommend it, both for a private event or as a team building for work. The arrangements were very easy and Emma who did the admin was so helpful. They also take allergies and preferences into account which is great! I can really recommend this place!

Group size was 9 plus 1 chef instructor
We made strawberry gazpacho, tomato bread, Spanish tortilla (what Americans call an omelette), seafood paella, and crema Catalan (essentially a creme brûlée but with milk instead of cream) and drank white and red wines . Fun experience. I bought the omelette wooden flipper plate used for the omelette. They also have the paella pan, wines, apron and saffron for sale. I don't think we used any saffron for class but used smoked paprika. We didn't each make every dish but instead chose what we wanted to work on, like grating tomatoes, slicing potatoes, slicing cuttlefish, cleaning mussels, etc. Classes finished a little after 9pm, which includes eating time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys spending time in the kitchen. Great location on Las Ramblas too!

We attended the cooking class as a gift from friend's of ours. The first positive is the location. Located on La Rambla we had a short walk from our hotel to the class.

The atmosphere created by the chef was fun, inviting and inclusive. The set up of the night was also great, giving everyone a chance to play a significant part before sitting down to eat what was cooked.

The food was the best bit. Traditional food in a four course meal. This was the best food we had while in Barcelona. Definitely worth the money!

We celebrated our last night in town with the Spanish Cooking class. There were 11 of us with Kindra (she is terrific!). It was a wonderful way to end a week in Spain. Kindra provided good instruction, answered all questions and made us all fell welcome, including our three year old. We made strawberry gazpacho, tortilla, paella and Catalan creme. Yum! We enjoyed the company and learning more about the Catalan region.

We did the market tour and the cooking class last month. Our Chef was great, made the day a fun, and an enjoyable time was had by all. The traditional meal we all prepared was well thought out, as a process that needed to address the participation of thirteen people, keep them interested, and well-fed! And it did just that!
