“I could lunch there every day!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2013

The food is super fresh, the menu colourful, tasty, healthy and very well priced. Go for the brownies and don't underestimate the soups! Sometimes they do themed dinners which is always a very special experience of eating delicious food, meeting interesting people and even seeing a movie, without burning a hole in your pocket.

“Tasty and interesting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 5, 2013 via mobile

We were looking for a place to have lunch after our visit to Park Guell and when the place we came for was closed, we stumbled upon this spot. The food was very fresh, interesting and very different from what we had in Spain during our visit. Reminded me of New York hip places in Park Slope area.

“An oasis of fresh, nourishing goodness.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 7, 2012

Spain is great! The cuisine is one of the features of this fine culture. And to a large degree, the quality and freshness of it's gastronomy is the backbone for it's success. But on the street level the Spanish kitchen does not venture far off from its "tortilla de patatas" (Potato omelette) or its "croquetas de jamon" (Ham Croquets) or its Paella. While these dishes can be quite spectacular morsels, they can get redundant.

Les Tres a la Cuina is the remedy to this redundancy! I am a local ex-pat resident and perhaps I am somewhat biased by the ever charming and chipper proprietors (Ana and Mariana), but I am a scientific man at heart and for me, the proof is in the pudding.

"Les Tres" as the locals call it here, consistently serves up a refreshing alternative to those aforementioned "backbone" dishes. With seasonal soups and purées, grains from quinoa to couscous, veggies from beets to bok-choy, meats from argentine beef to Iberian ham, legumes like lentils, garnishes like basil and rugelach all fresh and all united in the perfect sonata of taste and infused in a perfect harmonious dose of nourishment, Les Tres is an oasis in a "jaleo" of deep-fried olive oil.

And though you will dine to the point of contentment you'd better be sure to leave a small pocket for the dessert! Exotic ingredients like Mexican chocolate, Irish butter and don't get me started on the Guinness chocolate cake are more than qualified to apease your sweet craving.

From heart and soul to taste and seasonal/nutritional balance, the establishment lacks nothing.
So, when you're up in the Gracia neighborhood of Barcelona and you're craving a change from the standard Spanish staple, this is the obvious choice; Les Tres a la Cuina.

“les tres made our barcelona trip special!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2012

we visited barcelona in september and we were recomended by a friend to make the trip to Les Tres a la Cucina. how great it was! we went on a special saturday event for a mexican themed lunch, so authentic! definately don't miss them if your in barcelona on a saturday theme menu! we went back for lunch on a weekday and the food was just as good if not better, lovely sized portions, served with wonderfull hospitality! we had an array of delicious salads and gazpacho. three courses for the Menu del Dia was €7.

the brownies are not to be missed either. im a brownie addict and they are seriously one of the best! no joke. im still thinking about them!

Les Tres is a cafe/shop with loads of tasty wines and gourmet foods to pick up, as well as perfect coffee.
stop by on a trip to parc guell or just stop by!

“Wonderful food in a city that has amazing food experiences.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 28, 2012

Les Tres a la Cuina is a surprising and amazing place to have both lunch and a gourmet browse of different Barcelona foods. We walked from Park Guell toward the city center and stopped at this restaurant for lunch based on a Conde Nast recommendation. My lunch of Pumpkin/Peanut Butter Soup with cilantro and pumpkin seeds and a Morrocan Chicken Rice was exceptional. My husband had a Beet Salad with Arugula and a Butternut Squash Main Course which was also something special. We wanted wine with lunch, we bought a recommended bottle, which we didn't finish. But was corked for us to take with us. As our lunch was being prepared my husband and I perused the gourmet grocery and ended up buying Spanish Olive Oil, Olives, Hot Sauces - and some of my shopping for gifts was almost done. Two young ladies from Ireland and Mexico, Anna and Marianna, are the powers behind this restaurant, and they are both charming and talented.
