“Gorgeous food and atmosphere”
Reviewed January 19, 2014

Tried this restaurant after going to one from the same group (Bar Lobo) and thought they were both fantastic.

Good price - especially because of the location - just off Las Ramblas

Pizza and tapas lovely

“Just the best pizza in town”
Reviewed January 2, 2014

I have been to Luzia many times as it is just across the road from le Meridien Hotel and it has always been great.
The pizza is just an experience FANTASTIC, the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff is just great. The fish and the salads qre also really nice and I just love the Deco and the fact that i always stumble into people from all over the world.

“Place for lunch across from Le Meridian Hotel, skip it”
Reviewed December 27, 2013

Food is okay, nothing spectacular. Reservations are worthless. Get to the restaurant on time and you might wait 45 minutes beyond the time of your reservation before you are seated. Every restaurant in BCN, including Burger King and McDonalds has WIFI. Getting their password to sign on to WIFI, while you are waiting well beyond the time of your reservation, is not easy. Wouldn't go there again.

“Good Food but the Service... Oh, The service...”
Reviewed December 26, 2013

Ok. We went to dinner at 6:45 in Spain. Our bad. We had 1 waiter serving 12 tables when we sat down. 15 minutes to get our Wine, Water, Dinner order in. The couple next to us already had walked out after 10 minutes. it took 1 hour+ to get our pizzas. They have a pizza oven. Theoretically it should take about 90 seconds to cook the pizza once it's made. Since 2 tables around us were waiting for their pizzas as well, and ALL of the pizzas came out about 10 minutes apart, we figured the pizza guy came in late or wasn't even scheduled to come in till later. The crust is like a flatbread so don't expect a Napoli style pizza crust here. The flavors were good on the Burrata and Dried tomato but the Truffle, Egg and Leek Pizza was almost flavorless. I had to add salt. Which I had to get up and get because the waitress forgot about it after I asked. I wanted to love this place but the poor service ruined it for me. Luzia. You need at least two waiters early. You have pizzas on the menu. You should have a guy on staff to cook them. Ok. Enough. Go Late. Don;t be dissapointed...Like me.
